id be interested in seeing some of your pics :)
i myself have been drawing for about 9 months, shading is a bit tricky, but i still find drawing torsos in funny poses the hardest :dizzy2:

face shading isnt that tricky, figure out the light source, and highlight the eyes to ****. its preferable to draw the point of the nose away from the light source, that makes shading behind the nose easier.

shade where hair covers the forehead, shade petty much everywhere past the original centre line, and possibly a bit of lighter shading along the jawline and under the bottom lip.
and oh yeah - a LOT of shades between the eyes and the eyebrows.

    hope that helps some :)

You can upload you piccy as an attachment when you're posting. However you should check the size of the image, because there is a limit to the size of the file you're uploading.

I might misunderstand, cuz I didn't quite understand what your saying

You don't need to show us the image directly. You can attach it and then we can access it on our own. ^_^ I think this is the best way.

    for example

^_^ GREAT, I can see it! It's very good I like your style. As for the shading you first have to determine where the light is coming from. Let's say from the left. I've used you piccy to demonstrate if you don't mind. I'll use the anime style shading since it's an anime piccy.

    Side note-----
When attaching your images make sure that they are JPG format, since not all computers will be able to view Bitmap images. They also take time to load :)

HB the main reason why your image files are soo big is not the fact that the actual image size is big, it's the format of the file. You have your images saved in Bitmap format and that why it says the image is soo big, so when you save your images try to save them in JPEG or GIF format which makes the file much smaller! :)
