Heh, well, this is a good one, Shinkon Gattai Godannar. Well, sort of, for those of you who know me.

It's not overly dramatic, but it has its parts, it seems. Then there's also the fanservice, while blatant, it's more hilarious than really anything else. And the mecha, cool mecha.

It's like...a drawn power rangers with pantyshots. Seriously. But, it's kinda cool because you see all these mechs with uber-witty special move lines. But, then again, I always enjoy light-hearted anime just as much as serious stuff.

But, basically, it's about this pilot and his newly wed wife (I guess, they didn't exactly finish the ceremony...a bad guy attacked). It seems as if the pilot hasn't been in the best conditions because his old partner (and lover, because it's a co-ed duo) died in a raid 5 years ago. Now, through wierd circumstance, they work together.

If any of you guys want to see a cross betwen E's Otherwise "PSY" (but magic instead) and Love Hina's multiple woman syndrome and Ranma's multiple fiancee antics, Maburaho's the one for you.

I really like the art, because it's not complex or too simple. The women are detailed, while, most of the men just look like dummies from the same mold. Kinda interesting, and makes sense since the women are kinda what is focused on.

(Duh, it's IZZY here...would he watch anything else? Probably not.)

Anyway, this one is about a school for magicians (supposedly widely accepted across the globe, as there are many foreign names in the cast as well) and a kid who has almost no latent magical powers. In fact, it's kinda like an RPG in that they have magic points, and can only use magic a certain amount of times before they "wither and disappear" (as the protagonist said). But, he's descended from a long line of powerful magicians and the girls want his "genes" (*waggle waggle* *wink wink*) for the prestige of having a magically-saturated baby. Bring in many girls, and many males hating the single male to capture all the attention, and you've got the basic plot.

Yeah, like Love Hina, Ranma, and some anime with magic/psy in it. Ooo!! Like Kimagure Orange Road but not as dramatic (thus far) and that EVERYONE knows magic.
