Food Should School Have A More Diverse Menu?

i think schools should serve more than one thing to eat cause some of the people at my school dont bring there lunch and sometimes they dont know what we are having.

 

at my school they have a full menu ranging from chicken sandwitches to a specialty. they have a special item everyday. if it were all just one thing then they wouldnt make as much money because not everyone likes one thing.(todays special was ribs and fries yummy!) :catgirl:

Ahh well i dont have school lunchies, boo hoo hoo. but there diffenitely should be since there should be vegetarian options, since veggies rule and all.

 

Both of my high schools did gave several options: soup, hamburgers, salads, the whole nine yards. And of course, here at university we have two cafeterias, one of fast food, and the other with a different menu every day.
Variety is the spice of life, they say.

 

All through public school there were always at least two menu options for any of the school lunches. Most of the time there were more, but there were always at least two. That's not saying that there was really much variety though, even with the options. In elementary school the second option was usually something like a sandwich. As far as people not knowing what's available...doesn't your school give out a lunch calendar? Mine always did (or they had the menus clearly posted all over the cafeteria).

At the university I attend, there are two cafeterias that service the main on-campus living facilities, as well as a large number of resturants and an insane number of vending machines. Even picky eaters can find something, although I'm actually not sure how a vegeterian/vegan would fare. Never really impacted me, to tell the truth.

Personally...well, I almost always brought lunch from home, so the school lunch menus were never a big deal. Even when I started getting the occasional school lunch I didn't really pay much attention to things. *shrugs* Different people, different habits, ne?

my school always give more then one thing at lunch sometimes we can have up to five things but school lunch is not very good :dizzy2:

At one of my schools there was a mini Pizza Hut outlet, and one for Subway and Burger King too. There was always choice, even if it wasn't healthy

 

In my college theres an upstairs cafetera and a downstairs one. They both serve different meals. And these meals are different daily. The upstairs one is more expensive then the downstairs one.

 

oO I have never been to a school where they serve only one kind of food. (I move around alot too.) Most of the schools thats I've been to usually have a variety of choses, like they usually have a specialty of the day and what they served yesterday. And if people don't perfer either of those theirs always, soup, pizza, salad, ice cream, subs, vegetarian dishes, pretzels, nacho, or : / just junk food, are always available everyday. Every single school I've been to are like that. It's a bit strange that your school only serves one thing. But to answer your question..Yes I believe schools should serve more than one chose of course.
