Movies Shrek 2 *spoilers*

I just saw this movie yesterday and laughed all the way through it! What did everyone think about this? If you disliked it, why so? What was your favourite part?


My favourite part was when the Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio, and others were watching TV and some version of cops came on and in the show a guard searched Puss-in-Boots and found a bag of catnip, and Puss' reply was "Um... that's... not mine..." The whole Pinocchio wearing a thong part was great too!

 

Best sequel in a long time. I went to a theatre over the weekend, fully intending to see Van Hellsing. Then my accomplices decided we were seeing Shrek 2 instead. I can't say I was disappointed.
Of course, the high point was definitely Puss in Boots (whom I have dubbed el Gato en zapatos ...). Antonio Banderas rocked the house. The only thing was that at the end he was singing a Latin song, even though he's Spanish ... well, that's just nitpicking. It was still a lot of fun.

 

I want to see it. I loved the first one and Mike Myers is teh bomb. I'll probably see it this weekend.

 

I saw it about a month ago, and That guy is right, the catnip part and the thong part are pretty funny.

 

Those were my favourite parts! I love Puss in Boots, especially that big-eyed look he does...and the way he sucks up to Shrek.

Usually sequels are just lame, but this in my opinion was even funnier than the first! ^_^

 

I went to see this just a few weeks ago, and while I was fully expecting to be disappointed (which is the case with many sequels), I found this to be even more hysterical then the first! ^_^

I think my favorite part would have to be when the fairy godmother was singing her song to Fiona, especially when "sexy kyle" showed up (the guy with the whip )

Oh yes, and every scene when Puss in Boots would do his little 'adorable kitten' routine. Classic ^_^

but i think i really do need to see it again

I've watched it once and I'e watched it again today. After watching the first movie around 18 months after it's intial screen release. I was expecting so much... but when I did gt around to seeing it, I was disappointed and I didn't enjoy it 'that' much. (That goes for Matrix as well, watched that 2 yuears after release... wasn' too good).

Anyhow, Shrek 2 was great, funny, witty, cheesy... it's all there.

Favourite scenes are (Warning! possible spoilers!):

- When ginger bread man and co. watch TV viewing Shrek, donkey and Puss get arrested, and they dig out 'powder' out of Puss's pocket... that was hilarious.
- The first scene with prince charming flinging his hair made me laugh too.
- Puss's classic feature... adorable eyes.

I just seen this film a few hours ago andf i thought that it was great. A lot of people told me that it's not as good as the first but i think that it is better. Banderas did really well in his part as Puss In Boots.

Faveroite moments:
- Pinocchio wearing a thong
- Puss caught with the cat nip
- Shrek wearing the worker outfit over his head, and it actually working

i've seen it this week end too and i loved it !

well, i wouldn't say it's better than the first one, perharps just because i was expecting lots for this sequel, but anyway, it's great seing it !

Well, apart from what've already been said, concerning catnip, thongs, cute little eyes, there are quite a few other things i enjoyed...

let say...
the scenes from movies (a little of lord of the rings, a little of spiderman, a little of alien, a little of beauty and the beast, there might be others i missed)
the face of donkey (classical) at the begining
the little jokes here and there (burger king, towers of london record)

i can't say everything i liked, else i'd be telling the whole movie !

 

wow the movie seems to be playing everywhere, when i was in Poland, the movie was there too!!!

 

I love this movie. It's different, it's funny, and I love Puss 'n' Boots! He's my favorite character.

 

my mom loved the movie. she was laughing the whole way through. even when it wasn't funny....

anyway, i like the movie a lot. didn't really laugh bet thought that it was enjoyable.

 

Shrek 2 got me cracking up all throughout the movie. It was just absolutely hilarious.

 

I just saw it. I'd say its better than the first, just for having Puss in Boots in it. He really steals the show... I'd hate this movie if it didn't have the little kitty witty in it!

Hehe. When the cops take the catnip he says "Uhh... its no' mine..."
