    Can you feel it?
Like the stars that stream across the bright blue sky,
Like lightening touching base with the ground,
A startling screech, a wayward cry, a thousand haunting fears.
    Silence.

    Can you see it?
Tumbling down like the pillars that held up Rome,
Like the fading illumination towards twilight,
Like the cooling rush of a waterfall,
Dangerous, tasteful and straight to the point.
    Silence.

    Does it touch you?
Like the hands caressing over your inner image,
Like a few good compliments to boost your ego,
With you in mind, a turn of the tide, a fear of life.
    Silence.

How do you explain this silence?
    ...

    I think I just did.

Different but I like. I has to re-read it to get the full effect which is a good thing. It is worth reading again.

That poem has got to be my favourite one you have written so far. I really like that one more than the others.
