Manga Silent Mobius

FINALLY!!!!

*kicks comic shop*

I finally got my first issue of Silent Mobius and its better then I thought it would be! If anyone else has read it whats your opinion on it? I love the storyline most of all, and I really like some of the artwork.... it reminds me of Rumiko Takehashi's work a little ;

 

I've read up through Volume 4, and need to get 5 and carry on soon. I really like it as well. I don't know about the Rumiko Takahashi bit. In the first three volumes, it seems to me Asamiya's own art style hadn't matured yet, so the characters really reminded me of another artist, but I couldn't tell who (probably the first thing that would spring to mind for me is Bubblegum Crisis). In 4 we finally see the 'Asamiya style' that's really angular and strong in the character designs, and I love it. I've always kind of had this 'style continuum' with Leiji Matsumoto at one end and Kia Asamiya at the other, and you can probably tell which one I like and which I don't like.

 

I've read volume 1, It's really good in my opinion.
Hopefully sometime in the near future, I'll read volume 2, then I'll have more to say:dizzy2:

 

Got volume 7 recently. I'm not going to spoil the end of it suffice to say YIKES!
