    Simple simple simple... Where it's more easy to use... I've spend hours looking for the links... YAY!! foooor SIMPLE!
    But those Layouts are really cool.... Gets Inspirited

    I find the 3 sites you listed simple in their own way.

    I like simple, but of course the words are so tinyyyyy!

    Ack! Those were examples of simple... sorry about that!:dizzy2:

    My definition of exotic would be using flash animation, and complex designs a average person would not even dream of making. Extensive use of graphics and SOUND!

    Simple would be easy navigation, neat, little use of graphics...

    This topic is a little subjective... what is your definition of an exotic or unique web design Seraphim, Yuna, anyone? and a simple one ;)?

    Oh I prefer simple layouts really because they load faster, although I'm not sure if my sites would really be simple layouts >_< I love the use of graphics in websites except too many could be a bit painful for slower connections... Although I really really don't like it when I go to a site and I'm listening to a beautiful Do As Infinity song on winamp then I'm blasted with a midi, or when my speakers are on full blast without me knowing it when I'm not listening to any music at night and I'm blown away >_<
    Some flash sites are really cool looking though and can be fun, but they are better for those with DSL...

    Why would flash sites be better with those with dsl? they are smaller and load faster. ?
    Anyways, if I ever have time, I should make all my images on my site smaller. 0_ot

    Do you prefer Frames or table layouts? :)

    I like both combined actually, but I tend to make layouts with frames...

    oh I usually just use layers for my sites too because there are too many browsers that can't handle frames... and tables sort of bother me because it's a pain to have overlapping objects in em'

    and I have no clue but Flash has always loaded slower on my computer... maybe there's something wrong with it >_<

    I don't mind. If a site looks good, then I like it.
    That JNK site has one of the coolest layouts I've ever seen. That spinny thing kicks ***.

    On the frames vs. table debate, I go with tables...even though they can be a *pain* to work with in complicated design...

    I have too many quams with frames...

    1) Longer Wait. With frames, things take longer to load, since they pull up several pages at the same time, and each needs to load...

    2) Search Engine Mishap. Many search engines chuck at the sight of frames, indexing the content pages rather than the frame container itself. Bottom line - you can't use a frame page as a reliable index.

    3) Ugly. Not the case much anymore, but a lot of the older frame page designs were just gross to look at. All those scrollies take up space, and sometimes amateur designers will try to throw in pages that are way too big for the deisgnated areas...

    I wanted to ask, how do you make frame pages .. ?
    I think that you put some kind of code or something .. right ?

    i really like simply layouts....but i would really love to be able to make a great setout...my current setout is just...well....simpler than simple ^_^;; its quite embarrassing :/ haha...

    Well Zanza :D you are asking for something that is a little bit complex... than what you know... err... from working with you I see that you like to make pages the "What you See is what you get" anyways I won't stop you...

    I try to explain the basics and also will give you a site in which I learnt about them...

    Frames are basically a couple of web pages shown at once in the same window... (this might not be actually true all the time but let visualize it that way)

    for examply you have a webpage called "Names"
    and you have another webpage called "pictures"

    what you want to do is show both pages at once in a page

    so you create a new page called "combined"
    from there you will write a code which the computer will understand ans show both pages at the same time.
