Slayers Universe Slayers Special (Manga)

    This is the third Manga series of Slayers which is the only one, AFAIK, still going in Japan.

    While I enjoyed the original Slayers Manga series (4 issues, that's right, never released in vloumes), and wished it went further, Special is not bad either.

    Independent of the "Special" entitled OVAs' storylines, the manga does follow the stories in one respect - It's set before the plot of the "main" series (i.e. Amelia, Gourry, Zel, etc. which was covered in the second Slayers Manga series) and revolves around a younger Lina Inverse and Naga as her companion.

    I've managed to read the first 6 or so released comic-version by CPM, and it's not too bad.

    Anyone else managed to sneak a peek in this direction? ;)

    I've read a couple issues, and I liked it quite a bit. :) Slayers kicks ***.

    I have read first volume of Slayer Special. It is pretty good, but Medieval Mayhem is better.
