    Time for some Nostalgia :) [ Another of Teddz's Games Polls ^^ ]

    So Basiclly, If you had to choose between SNES [Faicom] or Sega Mega Drive, which one would it be? Do the tell the reason behind your choice.

    I personally choose SNES, due to the fact that almost all of the classic games are there BUT there are also great games for the Sega Mega Drive. My Love for the SNES is too strong, so SNES get's my vote :)

    As I've said before my family are Nintendo "freaks" and we got the most heh

    and theres really good old games for SNES like Zelda: A Link to the past and Megaman X and of course the Final Fantasy games

    I still play SNES but not all the time of course, just when I get bored at everything else

    NINTENDO ROCKS

    At one point I had every console in exsitence, except Neo Geo. I have since gotten rid of all of them, but I kept my SNES!!! I kept all my final fantasy games, and of course Chrono Trigger. Someone stole my Secret of Evermore and Metroid and Earthbound. That bites. :(

    I love Nintendo, Square better come back to them ASAP.

    SNES! ^_^ Even though I can get most of those games for other consoles now...

    Why?

    Earthbound- God, show me a weirder, better, funnier, sillier, did I mention weirder?, game for a console that old and I will eat my LOTR ring.

    Final Fantasies.- Need I say more?

    Chrono Trigger!- Our very own Akira Toriyama working the movie scenes.

    Harvest Moon, the original- ^_^ It holds a special place in my heart!

    Lufia 1+2- These games often get overlooked, but they're great games just the same.

    Castlevania- How many games that have remakes and sequels were originally for the SNES?

    Uhm, there are plenty of other reasons, but I'm supposed to be resting for exams. Espanol Manana.

    SEGA got seriously gypped on the RPGs - even though they got a few gems (Shining Force, Phantasy Star), which singlehandedly destroys them in that area.

    For action games, though, I think Sonic edged in at this time to outdo Mario (he was best in NES IMHO).

    Of course, SEGA was what I owned far longer than my SNES. ^^


    Not on the SNES, though he had some say on the character designs. The PSX remake added the cutscenes. :D

    About as many as there were on Genesis/Mega Drive IIRC. :p

    Well i go for snes...for one reason: The fun factor! its has better games and controls. How can you play games with only 3 buttons?? C'mon!
