    Well what do you guys think of it(the anime not the game) ?

    Which is more interesting, the game, the anime, neither?

    I didn't see the anime, but I liked the game.. [​IMG]

    I saw the first handful of eps thanks to a friend. Pretty durn good. Just funny enough n'the plot managed t'keep me interested. Need to look into seein' the rest of it.

    Havn't played the game, though most tell me the combat system is a bit too klunky.

    I've seen about 10 or so episodes, I'm downloading more once my Gekiganger 3 OVA's are complete [​IMG]

    I thought the series was really cool, the whole story of 'Bloody August' is very interesting.

    Although I had trouble getting into the game. It has a great plot and all, but the english voices are so darn annoying!! Magik's(the apprentice of Orphen) voice especially. I looked in the menu to see if I could change it to Japanese/english subbed but there was no such feature. I almost got off of the boat at the beginning of the game, but I couldn't stand the noise [​IMG]

    ^_^ I guess the sounds of the game and the battle system need imporvement.. I liked the story as well as the anime cutscenes of the game...When you get to the middle of the plot you might get used to it.

    I was just wondering if the anime was worth it.

    YES THE ANIME IS REALLY WORTH IT!!!

    Coming from someone who knows almost the entire basic plot from owning the first 9 episodes fansubbed and seeing a bit up to episode 22 or so in Korean sub... err... yes I don't know Korean but the animation is frickin AWESOME!!! My Korean friend told me what was going on as I watched.

    When all the dvds are out, I've already planned to get them all, with the box. :)

    note, you can tell how awesome the anime is from the commercial ads.. not very hard to find..but perhaps so...

    didn't I already start a post on this topic a very very very long time ago?

    I've only seen two or three episodes of the series, but based on that, my opinion coincides with that of the rest of you.
    As for the game, I haven't yet played it, but maybe all the bad reviews explain its low price at so many stores. I'd still like to check it out, though. I often love what others hate.

    Got my chance to see the first ep about a week ago (not the game, however, which reportedly stinks - as most have already said here...:p) and I must say that it really caught my interest... however, from what I can tell, the series didn't get fansubbed very far did it...

    BakaMattSu, another case of an "Anime so good, no one wants to sub it", huh?

    no it didnt get fansubbed that far. up to 11, and then the last episode was fansubbed too. isn't that weird? like what a huge jump for fans. Anyways, someday when I have money, real money, I'll buy the dvds that are out, but not until boxset. and the game isn't really true to the characters true personalities. The voice acting is a bit bad, but I find the battle system is pretty cool.

    I love the anime itssss sooooo GREAT hehehe... fantastic... ive watched around 9 eps... have them all now just need some time to finish it ~_~ ... waah...

    I have seen the first 3 episode of the series and I have to admit that it has great animation. I liked how the characters were introduced. Orphen reminds me of sanosuke (IM SURE THAT ZANZA WILL ALSO LIKE HIM) ...

    Are there characters such as Cleo, and Magnus in the anime....? I've seen them in the game ^_^ I hope to see them in the anime...

    BTW.. yeah the game might not be so great, but I admit that I enjoyed playing the game, and watching some anime cut scenes...

    Hai ^^ Magnus is in the anime, although his name is Magik in there... I'm pretty sure that Cleo is in there as well. Are the episodes licensed in North America though? I really want to see past ep. 11

    ya remember Rob? she's the girl that thought Orphen was peeping on her. but he was really watching out for the sword that was in her house. then she packs her bag and follows him around with Magic.

    the show is already past dvd volume 3 with more to come. so no more fansubbing I'm afraid. Waiting for the boxset, plus the boxset of Excel.

    Well .. when I saw some parts of the anime from the net .. I like it .. even thoug that I have seen his picture before (I dont remember well where and when .. !)
    But I can say that it reminded me of SANO .. !!!

    As I said .. it remionded me of sano .. not when you said that .. :p
    So dont call me a MONKEY or anything else .. :p

    1,2 & 3 episodes ..

    I had seen the first 3 episodes and I was so mad cuz there was only 3 episodes .. !

    I wanted to see more :sad: !!

    But thats ok .. I have the net right ;)

    BTW .. how many episodes are there .. ?

    Cannot remember how long it ran, but it's about half the normal Anime season size (26, if you don't know the regular sizing scheme)...

    Saw the whole anime and it was cool. wished it was longer though =/
    Loved the music too :)

    It talks about the group more than its being an action, mostly about Orphen and his long-life friend, who hapend to be a she :)

    Don't want to spoil stuff for you, but watch it, its nice ^^

    I have the series almost all recorded on 6 tapes. I recorded it from a Spanish channel and although Mexico can't translate worth beans, I guess they did good. I like the songs especially. The Orphen music is GREAT ^_^ I wish I could get the rest of the songs. I only have 2. They're so hard to find though.
