Well, it's certainly is a problem to me. When I download scanalations or manga, I have to unzip and click on every scan file to digest the manga which is really a painful process. I don't have windows XP wich Kindly allows to view images in a slide show. So I found a program which makes reading manga easy and less painful. It's called Irfan View and there is a little tutorial which explains how to use this program.

Winrar makes it easy for you too. Just right click on the zip and "Extract Here" and everything should extract from the zip. It saves time/effort/keyboard maneuvering.

That's just me though. And personally, I HATE slideshow view in Windows XP. It sucks because pictures are smaller. ^_^

There are a few things I can suggest to those who do have slideshow. By the way, I windows ME, and I also have slideshow. Most people who have windows do actually have it. This is all you have to do:

-Save all your manga in a folder.
-Open the folder, and click View
    -Customize This Folder
    -Click "Next"
-Click "Customize" "Choose or Edit an HTML template for this folder."
-Click Next and select Image Preview.
    -Click "Next"
    -Click "Finish"

And Voila! You should now have a little link that says "View As Slideshow." I love this slideshow... it's MUCH better when browsing my collections of stuff.

Also, if your slideshow resizes it, there are two things you can do. First of all, change your resolution to 1024x768. You can do this even if your screen is small. If anyone needs to know how, just ask.

Second of all, you can just use the little scroll thing on your mouse to zoom in. Then just click... and WEEEE next one. ^_^

Normal image viewing programs work too. ACDsee works fine. In fact, it's what my friend prefers over the XP viewing software.

Ifranview works wonders though, if your current OS doesn't have anything like that.

I've been using irfanview for ages, I think it's keen. I use it for all my viewing needs. It's got really good compatability too.
