Fiannly I was able to beat the monster that was stopping me from entering Zandarkend (spl), after more than 2 months actually ^^;, anyway, I met couple of strange feinds there, the first one was some blue creature in a multi eyes jar, and the other is a green turtle look a like oO

The question, how do I beat them?? What is their weakness??
How do I get all the 7 stuff in the jar thing and whats the deal with the karma and the vodo thing? oO

Oh yeah, add that weird ghost the uses doom, ..

    I guess my question is:
*Explain slmost everything about these 3 fiends please ..

P.S. I have the help bar viewed..

Its been a while since I played FFX, but I think you need to give the jar an elixer or something to defeat it.(like the jar monsters in FFVII)

Heh, so you're in Zanarkland, right now, eh? Well, those jar thingies are Magic Jar's (Pots?) and you *can't* beat them. It's impossible. Their hit points are way too high, and it's probably best to just avoid them altogether...unless you feel lucky and want to win all the prizes. Don't worry, you don't need to capture any of those for the creature capturing side quest.

The turtle thing is the SUPER-EVER-POPULAR Tonberry. Those things are deadly. They're pretty much always known for their counter-attacks...usually called "Everyone's Grudge" though that became "Karma" and "Grudge" became their attack. Anyway, a CHEAPO way to beat them is to use Lulu or Yuna as long as they have LOW strength levels. Like..when I went into Zarnarkland in my last game, I got annoyed from the FIRST game and just made it so Lulu NEVER EVER picked up any Stregth level ups. So, she was at Str. 7 by the time I got there. Conversely, her magic was somewhere upwards of 40+. :sweat2: "Karma" is pretty much a counter-attack based on how strong your character is...the weaker his physical strength, the weaker the counter-attack. So, use a strong magic user, ONLY. Unless you're like me and your party's so tough, it doesn't really matter. But, it's ALSO a great way to gain overdrive. Set it to Stoic for like...Tidus, and set everyone so they gain Overdrive points when Tidus gets hurt, and keep Tidus attacking and revive him...and everyone gets Overdrive in no time. :p If you take this further, it's also the CHEAPEST way to gain levels...provided you have the Overdrive->Ap weapons.

The Ghost...well, if you can't beat them because they cast doom...just get zombified by those monks in the dome. Then fight the ghosts...because you can't doom dead things. Another way to beat 'im is to just barrage it with cure spells. So, haste Yuna and Tidus if he has Quick Hit and just go town on him.

Okay, hope I helped...it's a real pain trying to capture all those things, y'know? :p

Edit: Actually, Kaneda, they don't ask for anything in X. It's pretty much a roulette game, where if you hit the right eye, he gives you stuff. If you don't, then he blows up.

Getting the seven items is based on luck, you attack a eye and hope that he doesn't go blasting off on you and damaging you. I was only able to get all the items once, and if there is a pattern, I wasn't able to see it

As for Tonberry's Counter attack, the damage is based on the number of enemies you killed, so if Tidus has 200 kills but Wakka only has 100 kills, Tidus will suffer more damage than Wakka.

Odd, I had thought that to be the OTHER tonberry. The....dammit...not the Don..but, the other one. The other Tonberry you have to capture. Wait...the Master Tonberry! Yeah...that one. Oh well.

they're both based on that formula for damaging you when they poke you. most enemy's weakness's are shown if you have a weapon with sensor on it..or just cast the spell(khimari should have it...or tidus...can never remember...)
