Humour Some ground rules

Alright, let's get this out of the way. I don't want to have to deal with some things in this forum, so I want to have some rules in place.

First off, and this is the same everywhere else on Boards.jp:

-No racism, ageism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination.

Now, I realize that there are certain jokes and such that make fun of the quirks that some types of people have. (Ie. The 'Blonde Joke' thread that's stickied right below this one) And I will allow them to a certain extent. If things get out of hand, like, say, a thread that does nothing but insult people over and over will be locked. (Ie. Using the previous example, if the thread degenerates to little more than "Oh, yah, Blonds r so stoopud." or similar, it will be unstickied and locked) Members involved in these insults will recieve bad karma.

Second, which is also the same anywhere else on BJP,

-No spamming.

When someone posts something, be it a joke, or a link to a humourous webpage, I don't want to see people responding with nothing but "LOL" or "That was funny." These comments add nothing to this forum and will be deleted without notice. If you don't have something constructive to add to a thread, I ask that you refrain from posting in it. If you feel like you absolutely *have* to respond, please, explain what you liked/didn't like about it. These suggestions will help us provide a better forum for you.

I just wanted to restate those because I want them to be very clear.

The following rules are specific to this forum only.

-Disclaimers must be included for all jokes of a mature nature.

I don't want to hear about someone reading a joke that's meant for adults when they aren't mature enough to handle it. If I see something like this, I will not hesitate to give bad karma and add the disclaimer anyway. Save me the trouble, and take that little bit of time to add it.

At this point, that's all I feel is necessary. I will make new rules if I think it's necessary.

• To summarize:
  
  *Only jokes of a clean, non-hateful manner.
  
  *Do not spam up threads with unnecessary posts. This includes responses that say nothing but "LOL!!!"
  
  *If you must comment, explain, tell us what you liked about it. New suggestions are always welcome.
  
  *Please, include a disclaimer with any mature jokes. This is for the sake of our younger members, and any guests that come around.
  
  *Something as simple as "The following joke is meant to be viewed by a mature audience." is enough.

Also, at this point in time, all threads prior to the creation of this thread will remain unchanged.

If it is Funny post it..

If its something that your mother would probably slap you one for saying.. Dont post it..

So No Rascist stuff, and If its in REALLY bad taste keep it to yourself..

thats it.. Remember if its NOT FUNNY or just really Wrong it goes bye bye
