I think that's the link. And anway, wasn't it rated TV-14? But that just might be my mistake. I don't see how they can sue because they have the statement that it might not be suitable for children under the age of 14 and after all, it is called ADULT Swim.

Please, don't these people have something else to whine about.

I go over my friend's house while her little brother is watch Deter or something, and he's running around with just a bubble (or whatever) covering himself.

Normally with people who make statements such as this, I consider them to be a little crooked in the head or terribly misinformed, such as the people who claim that D&D encourages Satanism. But, from what I can tell, they just want what they find an inappropriate rating changed, which is ok if done in a non-extremist manner. Although I don't think CN is even showing FLCL anymore...

Wow... these people must be realllly bored. FLCL was rated PG-14 (Im pretty sure). Wow... this is another case of a parent who doesnt want their children to see any violence. Its gunna be in real life when they get older. Also, if they are conserned about FLCL, they should have sued for CB, it shows actually boobs in an episode and it has a bunch of violence. These parents need to see what anime is all about!!!! FLCL is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to violence in animes.

I know, in Cowboy Bebop they show people naked and two guys having sex (I think AS cut that out tho... ) And they don't shoot rubber bullets, I assure you, lol!

For starters, what the hell are your children doing up and watching tv at midnight!? Are you insane?! Kids should be in bed at that time of night! Why do you think FLCL is aired at midnight!? So little kids DON'T stumble upon it and watch it.
Why do you think Adult Swim is called what it is?! Because it's for ADULT Audiences. Yeah, that's why it's on late at night moron.
As for the rating, heh, I've seen worser ratings than that ma'am! Ever herad of an anime called Neon Genesis Evangelion? It's worse than FLCL espcailly the movie, the End of Evangelin, which has the main character who's 14 years old masturbating over an unconcious 14 year old girl, who later ends up dieing in the most digusting way, by having her 'Eva' eaten alive by other Eva's with her in it (oh, and a big lance goes right through her eye and before that she's cracking her opponents like shrimp, letting the blood go everywhere, including on herself.). Let us not forget that in the series, they're fighting angels, and the main character's Eva ate one of them. And shall we not forget the over blood use! And Evangelion's only rated 13 up last time I checked (hey, I watched it when I was 12 years old). Cartoon network is also airing in Adult Swim, Cowboy Beboop, which actually also worse than FLCL and it's been on the air for a long time! FLCL is rated PG-14 which is reasonable. A woman's private area? So? I see my private area every nigth when I take a shower I'm not gonna be disturbed when i see it on tv. Sex? I'm 14 years old, I'v learned about sex and puberty from my teachers and th street. I'm gonna lose my virginity soon, ffs! So I can't handle it on TV? Rightttt. Blowing up heads? Gee whiz, every damn show has violence! Nothing new there!
Cartoon Network airs the shows it does at that time of night to keep people like me happy. Other channels do it too, except they air american cartoons like Undergrads and Clone High. We're 14 and older, we've been able to handle stuff like this since we turned 12. And there you're b*tchin' and complaining like this cause you don't think it suitable for kids udner 10? (I don't know how old your kids are but I'm sure they're under 10) IT'S NOT SUITABLE AND THAT'S WHY IT'S ON AT MIDNIGHT! It's your own fault if you're an irresponsible parent and let your kids stay up that late.

People who haven't watched animes before think that all cartoon, except South Park and some others are meant for children. Then they see an anime like Cowboy Bebop or Evanglion. What they do after that? Hell, they think that all animes are just violence and sex. They should go and watch some more animes.

I don't like violence or sex just because I don't. It's hard to find good anime that don't have them. What is so damn interesting about that? I just can't understand.

But since FLCL had TV-14 or PG-14 and it's aired at midnight kids shouldn't be watching it. The thing I can't understand is the fact that Evangelion has something like PG-13? Mayby children that old can't watch it from TV 'cause it's aired midnight, but they surely can buy it from a shop that sells anime. I haven't Evangelion since I'm not interested in violence or sex. I have become too peaceful for that, but people can watch whatever they want, it's none of my business.

 

Apparently this women doesn't like cartoons. Yet having real people do that stufff is funny.

I'm surprised that nobody ever complained about Loony Toons or Tom and Jerry. Those characters are constantly blowing each other to kingdom crumbs.
