Art Sonic the Hedgehog fanart

I suppose it's about time I get off my duff and actually post something here. ^_^;;; Dunno why I was avoiding it....

Anyway, here's one of my recent CGs, of Sonic the Hedgehog in the Final Rush SA2:Battle level. That game got me re-hooked on an old obsession.

It's Sonic just as his feet are leaving one of the rails in the level (probably to jump to the other one in the picture). I like how Mobius came out in the background, and I'm once again grateful for the stars picture tube in PSP7.

Interesting note: the only lineart in the entire picture is Soinc himself. The rest was hand-done in PSP7 with my mouse.

And I forgot to account for the lighting from the sparks. Oh well. ::shrug::

It's his game design. He's kinda' skinny in the games. ::shrug::

 

He grinds on two. I mentioned in the description that he's just leaped from the rail in this picture, which is why neither foot is actually in contact with the rails. ^_^ But thanks for the compliments, guys!

 

Ohhhh! I love it! It's wonderful. I love Sonic! He's always been a favorite of mine. He's such a cute little hedgehog! Animals are cute!
