Has anybody seen this? The Soreyuke! Uchuusenkan Yamamoto Yohko -- or "Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko" -- OVAs have long been licensed in America.

The TV Series are still unlicensed, but probably not for much longer.

I've only seen the first two episodes of the series, but I love it so far! I'm even thinking of creating a Momiji or Yohko theme for myself!

    The story seems fun!

I've seen through episode eight. I saw just the first episode fansubbed last fall, after seeing the OVAs, and, well, since I had waited for like two years to see any of it beyond the opening credits, I was an instant fan and imported the first three DVDs.

I was going to start trying to fansub the thing myself, but I guess I was too hung up on accuracy, so I floundered when I was having too hard a time transcribing everything in episode 2 (especially Madoka's more vehemently-delivered lines). Now I've taken a good look at Aoi Anime's translation and learned that paraphrasing really is the rule in fansubbing. Oh, well.

I'm really happy that somebody finally seems serious about translating the whole series, though. It was looking to get pretty intriguing from 8 on...
