Where could I find the demo LP "Sound Creature" on
CD ? Could someone finally read this famous tarbel-codede message contained in
    "The Bermuda Triangle" ?

Unfortunately the Sound Creature LP was never released on CD.

The answer to your TARBEL question is at:

    All the best!

    Hello there!

I'm from Germany and a bi g admirer of TOMITA's music. Lately I found a
japanese 2-LP of which I've nerver heard of. Its title is "Sound Creature"
and it contains lots of rather short soundbits, partly known, partly
    unknown.
Has anyone heard of this record and has got more informations? It was
released by RCA and its catalogue number is RVC-7564/65.

    Greetings,
    fingerprince

Theres more info on John and Ben's site, and even a little on my site.

Its a 1979 album explaining how Tomita made these classical albums by
building up tracks with analog synthesizers and multitrack tape, and of
    course it all in Japanese.

There is no CD version, presumably because digital Synthesizers were all
the rage by the time CDs came out, and no version in any language other
    than Japanese.

Im the mid 80s Wendy Carlos did an album, "Secrets of Synthesis", along
similar theme of her stuff. A difference is she talks all through it
instead of a read along type thing like "Sound Creature" and there were
only a couple unheard before excerpts, no complete non-album works
    burried in there.

Hi, My name is Don and I live in California.
I have been looking for the CD version of the Bermuda Triangle.
But with no luck so far.
This is my favorite of Tomita's work.

this is pretty much a FAQ, I'm sure there is more info on the Ben and
    John site.

For whever reason they stopped short of releasing it when RCA/BMG did
the affordable surround sound re-issues in the early 90s which are still
    pretty easy to get.

Right now its out of print possibly even in japan, but this is a very
    recent event.

Whats bad about that is up until like a year or 2 ago you could just
order it off say some Japanese bookstore or some net CD shop that dealt
    with japanese releases.

But on the up side (at least for americans)

www.othermusic.com , a shop in NY, ordered a bunch of just this Japanese
CD for their well stocked psychadelic and prog rock section! While there
is no confusion with "bermuda triangle", be aware that if you mention
"Tomita" to them they will probably think of the guy who is known for a
lot of stange and exotic synth music in japan, Yann Tomita, who of
course is a different guy and does the Shibuya style sound they
    specialize in selling CDs of.

I think some U.S. import distributer grabbed a whole batch pf just
Bermida Triangle because a competitor of Other Music (another shop who I
don't think is online) had some copies also in the prog/psychadelic
section. In both cases these were the only Tomita albums stocked which
is too much of a coincidence not to mean some distributer put ot on
their list of psychadelic albums that shops can order... which of course
means some other fairly specialized CD shops with a lot of fringe and
unusual pop/rock/electronic music might have 'em.

And there are European CDs floating around AFIK, though you can't go to
some online shop and order them new because they are much longer out of
    print than the Japanese one.
