Anime Speed Grapher

The title 'Speed Grapher' peeked my interest shortly after ShinsenSubs released the first episode. After watching the first episode, I wanted to see it again. The wait for each episode was/ is painful. Having seen the first 3 episodes so far, I can say it's a very well done work.

I'd like to point out first that this anime is for mature audiences. Though not as graphic as Gantz, there are scenes of violence and sexual language/adult situations.

The main character is Saiga, a photographer who works for Hibara Ginze in Tokyo. He is asked to (and does) sneak into a special and highly secretive club (Roppongi Club), frequented by government officials, the rich and wealthy.

It is at this club that he meets a girl named Kagura, the only daughter of the Tennouzu group. She has been named the Goddess of the club, and can awaken special abilities into selected people. She can also bring death. At the moment Saiga sees Kagura, he instinctively takes her picture, and is discovered, captured, and Kagura is told to kill him. It is found out that Saiga has the Euphoria Factor;Through Kagura's contact, Saiga's greatest wish is fulfilled. What he has always wanted to do has become a reality. To find out his greatest desire, watch the show!

It's rare for an anime to draw me in and want to watch it again after the first episode. The story is very well done and the characters are amazing and so real; I really feel for Saiga and Kagura.
Excellent choice for theme opening as well: Duran Duran's "Girls on Film".

I just finished watching the show, and I have to say, it was amazingly well done, and for such a mature anime depicting many deadly sins, it ended very pure. I really enjoyed it.
