Mai-HiME spelling error

    not that I paticularly like HiME but...
    considering its real name is "my-HiME" I was wondering why you spelt i "Mai-HiME"

    I figure it's because "Mai" is a romanized way of saying "My." It's pronounced the same, after all. Probably the romanized version of the Japanese name.

    Because fully translated it would be My Princess.

    I know this cause I faught off the himetards in Static
    so there goes your therory my friend :p
    and seeing as how it's as I mentioned it's true name, that text yuo saw in the fansubs wasn't put there by them you know :p

    Eh, I was basically saying that off of my intuition. I haven't had a chance to see it yet.

    Besides I'm intoxicated for once in my life. It's hard to even spell right. :p

    That was mentioned in the first episode. So I am assuming that since HiME looked like "princess" they called it "My Princess". I only saw 2 episode, didn't have the time to see more. But that's all what I've got in my mind :)

    intersting, I can't seem to find the link to Japanese site which has "my-hime" in the title, but I don't like the series enough search for it for more than 5 min again
    on a sad side note
    it should be airing over here next year
