I don't like it cooked. I just can not stand the smell of it and I find the taste, just plan gross. I can eat the leafs on a salad. I also dislike the texture on it in my mouth when it is cooked.

Spinach also has a pungent smell to myself when it's cooked. Not really very appetizing. Also, it can get oddly...stringy.

I love spinach salad though. It's actually my "in-between" snack, when I'm at home for more than 5 hours.

Spinach isn't meant to be cooked to death, like other veggies, the nutrients will boil out into the water. Spinach is great lightly steamed and raw. I really like ti actually, I think a reason some people may not like it because it wasn't prepared properly.

I used to like spinach as a kid, but now its just plan nasty. It's all mushy, stringy, smells bad with a taste to match. I dont like any cooked produce.

Fresh or fresh frozen is fine, but don't give me canned. I think it has something to do with the way it looks coming out of the can, honestly. Kinda like with canned peas...I don't like the look, I don't like the texture, I don't like the smell and taste, and I don't like the color. However, I will it fresh peas and fresh frozen peas to my heart's content.

I've never actually cooked spinach, so I don't know what it smells like when cooking, but it can't be that much worse than broccoli, which doesn't bother me.

I looove spinach, especially cooked one. I also like to eat many other vegetables, like bok choi, croccoli, cabbage...etc. Hmmm... must be because i prefer vegies to meat, dont know why.

I would have to agree when you don't prepare spinach right it tastes awful that is probably the reason why people hate it.

I hated spinach until I tasted spinach dip. I know a few people who hated spinach like I did but love spinach dip. I don't mind spinach so much anymore. I had to eat it while I was on atkins.
