I was talking this over with some of my friends the other day and they gave some interesting answers. What is the real spirit/meaning of Christmas? Is there a spirit/meaning of Christmas?

Well there may have been a time when people believed in giving things on Christmas, but I don't think that's how it works anymore. The corporate people see it as a time to make tons of money. Kids see it as a time to get lots of presents. And parents see it as hell because of those two things.
