Music St. Anger is coming!

my favorite band of all time is Metallica, i'm really looking forwards to listen to the new material.

St. Anger will be realeased june 8.

metallica's older sh!t was way better than their new stuff, atleast i think it is. their newer, more recent stuff, as in the past 5 years was a waste of time. they should go back to the old days and make music like they used to. my two cents.

 

i heard "st anger" and saw the video (the song, not the album)

i didnt like it at first, then it grew on me.. and now it annoys me again..


i am sad to say i honestly don't know if I am going to buy the album tomorrow, metallica were the first "metal" band i ever listened to and they started me on a long and wonderful road of great music, it's a sad day when I find myself thinking of not getting their latest release

 

Although i am a huge fan of Metallica, this new stuff of theirs doesn't do them justice, or at least that's what i think. They just seem really old to continue to make albums.

 

arrrgggg...i hate those fuks who publish unreleasded material, anyways, i dont think ill be able to get the album right away for i'm little low on cash righ now but ill get it, many people think the older songs are better, i think so too but i them all(very few excepctions, last carres green hell)

anyways, long life to METALLICA! they are the best

 

I think St. Anger album kinda blows. I'm a Metallica fan, but am not impressed with it, as I have been with previous albums.

 

It actually was only leaked recently, the stuff I found was not true demos from the album. The leak tho is the reason for the updated release date of June 5th. The one main gripe I have heard in reviews is that it lacks guitar solos. It is supposed to be heavier though.

 

I HAVE ALL THE VIDEOS FROM THE CD ALREADY PLUS ALL THE TRACKS oh yea it is comming out earlier then expected I dun know if you guys knew that

I'm not going to buy it. After Metallica sued their own fans, that was the end of my buying of their stuff. However, I will download and burn the album most likely, I burn a lot of albums. Normally, if they're good, I buy them, or at least put them on the 'to buy' list. Metallica will never get to be on that list again though.

St. Anger was really bad =/ i expected much heavier stuff...but nope...

Where's the Spirit Metallica?

 

How could you not hear the guitar? It was all angry guitar and garbage can beating. I like the CD, but its just not like Metallica... I mean, I listen to it and judge it as if it were a band I'd never heard before, so I dig it... just not as much as say, Master of Puppets. I also miss the guitar solos....

 

I am disappointed at this new album, luckily I didn't buy it cause a friend did and I heard it at his place and as I said I am really disappointed cause it's worse than Load and Reload (I don't say that these 2 are really bad, there's some songs that I like but the majority of them wasn't as good as the rest), in the new album the only one I liked was the song St. Anger

 

they are trying to sound more new age

 

i've only listened st. anger(the song) and it's good.

i gotta say i didnt sound as metallica, but you have to undestand that people change, i bet the album is gonna be just as good as always, just because it change i doesnt have to be bad.
