Video Games Star Trek: Shattered Universe

This is a new game for the console systems. I am curious to see who has played it yet and what do you think of it.

Is it worth getting ?

What is the difficulty levels ?

The gaming guys over at SB have mixed opinions. Some love it, some dont. It's definitely not a sim, so if thats what you were hoping for, rent it first.

Actually, rent it first to see if you like it no matter what. From what I hear it is somewhat arcadeish (the Excelsior apparently has these speeds: backwards, stop, slow forward, fast forward, which isn't exactly the detail I enjoy).

Also, the difficulty apparently gets REALLY hard, REALLY fast.

 

I have rented this game and I have to say--Ouch!!!!

I hope this isn't as hard as it was when I tried it last night--maybe I was just too tired to give it my all.

The controls are very weird at first to get used too--I will have to playe out my rental to see if it is really worth owning.
