    I've gotta get something Star Wars in here somehow!


    The Star Wars manga's artwork is done by Toshiki Kudo and is rather interesting, but what would be even more cool is an anime of Star Wars. first they'd start out by having anime versions of the movies but then Lucasarts and Kudo could move on to making series based on the books!!(as in the Thrawn, X-wing, Solo books and so on). The anime doesn't exist but if the manga exists they may make an anime version of Star Wars too...

    Well, that's just a little prophesy type thing of mine

    hum, actualy I think it is better to do new stuff, not just do the same over and over again (and havent we seen enough of of star wars yet....apparantly not...cause I myself long for ep 2 ^_^)

    Au contraire, I think Star Wars anime would be highly addicting for a fan of both anime and SW such as mesself...

    Just to spoil things for those who aren't really heavy duty Star Wars...Queen Amidala does get together with Anakin (I detest him being call "Ani", by the way), 'cause she's the mother of Luke and Leia...

    BakaMattSu, can't wait 'til Vader enters the prequels...the dark lord kicks butt!!

    umm...for those who don't know, there is a manga...our ex-comic store ordered them in once...i saw them and kinda giggled...you can get them transleted too from like, bn.com(barnes and noble). i did for a friend of mine. they are done by(who else?)dark hourse. the translation that is..^-^;

    Wouldnt that be the manga That guy! typed done by Toshiki Kudo/ Shi-Ichi Hiromoto and out by dark horse?

    To bend the subject, I liked how Lost Universe had the Star Wars feel with light- sabers,blasters,spaceships,Megumi Hayashibara

    Seraphim still doesnt believe Megumi wasnt in Star Wars.. Seraphim -'But it would have made it oh so much better! I mean, think of the Japanese pop music!'

    Episode 2, music by John Williams and Megumi Hayashibara...

    I only have book 1 of the SW manga but loved it.

    What I would really like to see is Kia Asamiya (Dark Angel, Silent Mobius etc.)'s take on Batman - and manga versions of Superman and Batman would be cool - supermanga / batmanga [​IMG]

    How could you resurrect this old thread? It was so comfortably dead hehe

    I like the shirt though.

    Need to see some of the manga. I've seen the ascii art version of Star Wars though, and it's pretty cool :D

    Heh! Why I love doing ressurections! Look at how many I've done today! I'm on a posting high!

    Yeah, my local Gaming store has about 3 or 4 volumes in English... it's funky stuff!

    And, oh yeah, the Star Wars Asciimation is a wonder to behold!

    I was wondering how come I'd replied to this already! I think the SW book I have is my Hisao Tamaki. Any news on Kia Asamiya going to do Batman?
