    That could be the most intelligent thing I've ever seen come from you... heh.

    I don't really care about the postcounts or spamming to RPGs, I never go there, but I WOULD kinda like to have it not show on the front page, I typically see 1 or 2 threads outside the rpg board whenever I look at front... it'd be nice to be able to block out certain forums from the front page while logged in, just to be able to see all the recent posts that aren't completely useless. *shrug* just my $0.02 though, it doesn't really annoy me too much in any case as long as the spam is quarentined in the RPG board.

    Look around, we are at the threshhold of hell! I sincerly doubt one post will change or affect our posisition as a forum in any way.

    Im with Ark on the Block the RPG forum from the front page. I have to go searching for the new post in the other forums because all i ever see is Mass RPG (not realy spam but not realy RPG) just wasted space in a sorts.. And as for the one or 2 word sentences.. this is where a Charater minimum would work great to cut that stuff out!

    I agree there are lots of useless RPGs that should be deleted. People mentioned it in "The RPG Forum Situation" thread. Roleplaying Games with 200+ replies aren't due to spam. Maybe someone should be added to the RPG Forum in order for them to split the job in four.

    In personal opinion, I think that the RPGs should be ALL gone, then reinstated with a new regime. I mean, yeah, Meaikoh and Guy! have been doing their jobs, but there's only so much. Without adding too many mods to the mix, I think a reset would be a prime way of getting order in the RPG forum. Sure, it'll piss a LOT of people off (seeing as how a gaggle of the new members seem to be primarily only interested in RPGs), but it gives the two mods a chance to instate a better system. I, for one, also hate the fact that everytime I come in, the new posts are two pages long, but a whole page is RPGs...usually made by the same person.

    It'd be nice if members could filter out new posts from the RP boards, like kame and ark said. Makes it easier for those who don't visit that particular area of M2A.

    Personally, I don't think deleting all the RPGs in the Forum or deleting the forum is a good idea. After all, who could ever want an RPG like 'AnImE CoLliSiOn' deleted? Such things of beauty should be preserved **sniff**.

    I do agree that there are waaaaaaaay too many extra RPGs, and spam aplenty. It gets really discouraging when I have to search through 300-post threads to delete all the spam. And then I need to pick up where I left off.

    I tried deleting some extra or altogether too spammy RPGs, but then I got complaints. I'll watch this thread closely, and see if the That guy! wants to make a bigger decision.

    If we do decide to delete RPGs in the forum, I suggest we leave the 'finished' ones.

    Spaming isnt bad..well depending on the situation..and this situaition it is bad but i like doing sometimes anyways....o Well as Roinn said one post wont change it....O well

    Then tell me, what do you suggest? We have been moderating it quite closely and the rpg's are starting to slow down a bit. If there is a way to not show posts from RPG on the main page that would be fine with me... But when you look at the posts many of them cannot be considered spam because they have no elements of spam, they are not advertising, they aren't spamming, they aren't posting one line posts... Some of the people who do post a lot in the RPG forum type up 400 word posts at a time. This is why we can not just go in and delete the posts and threads like people are suggesting! Of course there are the occasional "OOC: I'll join later tonight" but we are taking care of those ;)

    10 new threads a day? I go to the RPG Forum everyday and never saw anything of the sort. Are you subject to halucinations, User18? The RPG Forum is being wonderfully moderated and I, who role plays alot, couldn't expect any better from Meaikoh and That Guy!. If it can be taken off the main page, then some people can just do it and other people keep it that way, whatever. As long as it doesn't disturb the Roleplayers.

    The simple way. Have it sanctioned off in its own space. Or do what you yourself suggested, don't delete the ones YOU don't want to. Not to say anything, but you're a mod. You can be pretty biased and not many can actually do anything other than send a PM to Cloud or Baka...which of course, *can* mean disaster. I suggest a massive deletion, but if you want to keep some of them, like Anime Collision, then do so. Save it all, then move it to a "classics" forum or area, where every thread is closed and locked, but members can see the glory that is old school M2A. Do so. I just want something done about the billions of RPers that "disturb" (in Sorcyness' words) the people that go to M2A *not* to Role Play, but to talk about anime in the other forums. I'm *really* in favor of scripting RP posts out of discussion and out of "view new posts". Perhaps, a separate link for the new RP posts? I think that makes sense.

    umm Not threads post.. everyday i come on.. all i see on the NEW POSTS list are prety much RPG's and frankly they are not even RPG's they are just role plays.. Not role play games.. if you want to know what they should be looking like as far as a role play game goes.. go look at Anime Collision.. that one we were not Mass posting everyday.. we posted once or twice and then Baka let us know the next step!..

    anyway the fact of the matter is.. cut it off from the New post thread and post count and everyone will end up happy!

    tho i agree with izzy...on most of his suggestions actually. a major deletion would help loads. kill the threads that are to spam riddled to save, and lock the old ones from resurfacing. just remember, most of the ppl in the rpg forum don't actually post in the rest of the forums. there's ppl there that i've seen once outside of there, and have since never posted outside of it since.
    talking about and watching threads for the replies you want to see is a novel idea, but well, action should really happen every now and again. i mean, i saw a bout of ppl trying to revive old newbies threads, look now and only about 2 or 3 pages back aren't locked. it took time, and i prolly didn't need to do it, but it's done and i know there won't be a flood of posts just to get count up.
