straight?

I just thought about Obata-sensei, the creator of Death Note. I just cant help but wonder about his sexuality. He created such sexy characters as Mello and Ruyuzaki(L), theres NO way he is straight. Honestly, untill friday i was sure that Obata-sensei is a she. And then, someone said that Odata san is a man. WTF?? Man...I love that guy. May he create more and more sexy leather-wearing boys. ^^
