Computers Strange finding

    If you're absolutely and possitevely sure you don't have Thermal paste...

    You can use tooth paste It actually works... sometimes even better then thermal paste

    but no not better then de Artic Silver III

    ugh. I wouldn't even CONSIDER using toothpaste on a cpu... that just strikes me as wrong on about a billion different levels...

    It lowered 3 degrees in Celcius in my CPU... strange huh?

    That sounds soooo wrong on soooo many levels.

    but i suppose he probably gets a nice zest of mint when he turns his pc on.

    i would assume that the chemicals in toothpaste would possibly change as the heat is added...it might work ok for now, but once it's been there for an extended period of time, there's a chance it could damage the cpu, or leak out as a strange ooz and hurt the mother board.

    the cooling is prolly the minty goodness lol
