Every one has heard ,at one point in thier life, a strange legend of myth about somthingor just a creepy thing that make you think. or have you ever had someone who told you about a friend of a freinds friend who did this? Stuff like that. What have you heard? What wierd stories have you heard?

A few myths that i have heard have been stuff like when you get a random chill someone in the future has walked over your future grave. I know i have gotten those kind of chills and this myth made me wander. Or there was one that went somthing like when you hear a ring in your ear it means someone is talking about you.

I know a lot, although they'd be considered superstitions I think. Stuff like, itchy elbows means someone thinks you're sexy. (I never had em except when I had chicken pox, and was itchy all over!) Well, but that's not a "creepy" one. Lemme think...

Here's something that actually happened to my family several times, when we still had our cat with us. A few times throughout the year, he'd find a way up onto the garage (we can see him there through a window). Our mom told us that when cats do that, it's gonna "rain soon." And you know what? Every time our cat did that, it would rain in a day or two. I guess even though it could be explained scientifically (animals can sense changes in humidity), it's still kinda spooky.

I'm not sure if this one really is a myth or urban legend, but I always feared that a clown will jump out of a toilet and eat me. I think it is because of that damn IT movie or what. I used to close the bathroom door and my door and than everything was safe. lol hmmm

This happend to my teacher Ms. Grant:

She was at this cottage and she went to sleep in this sleeping bag inside the cottage. Then in the middle of the night she wakes up and this guy comes out of the closet and tackles her. She faints. Then she woke up and was fine. She assumed it was a dream but then she saw foot prints all over her sheet of the sleeping bag. The neighbours heard that like someone died there or a insane guy was on the lose, I cant remmeber. Anyway she said it was true and I believe her she is a honest person but man that story was freaky.

Also if you have ever seen the movie Urban Ledgens it has a lot of these stories in there.

I've seen Urban Legends and the sequel. However, those are different kinds of myths--they are terrifying and realistic, rather than spooky and supernatural.

I remembered another one... In Hawaii, if you are driving your car on an empty road (especially near the old temples or near the mountains), and you see an old woman, with hair the color of ash, and wearing a white dress, you should pull over and give her a ride (to avoid bad luck). Already it would strike you as unusual for an old woman to be out there by herself, but actually she's not a person. Sometimes she might ask for a cigarette, and she'll actually light it without a lighter. Then when you're not looking, she'll suddenly vanish. A few people I know (teachers, friends) have experienced this. It's a common tale, about the volcano/fire goddess Pele when she is supposedly to take on a human form. Other stories also say that she can take on the form of a beautiful, young Hawaiian woman, but I think the old woman in white is her more common form. If I ever see her, I probably wouldn't think of the stories right away (once I know who she is, I'd freak out and piss my pants), but I most likely would pull over and help an old Hawaiian woman.

Actually the Urban Legends movies were not really real at all. I had to write about the second movie so i ended up looking it up. None of the legends have any truth to them so far.

Has anyone seen Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? well this show sometimes has urban legends on it. but what it great about it is that it tells u if it was made up or not. there is also a legend show starting soon on discovery channel i think. well it looks at all the myths and legends that anyone can think of. cant wait to see it

Heres one i swear its true. I remembering reading about it in the newspaper. But can't remember which one.

This happened in my state ND (usa). This girl and her friends went to the movies. And as she was sitting down something pricked her. She ran her hand across the seat and found nothing. She was going to check further but the movie started. She deceided to wait until after the movie ended. The movie ends and all her friends were wondering what she was doing. She showed them a needle that pricked her and there was a note on it. The note read "Welcome to the wonderful world of AIDS." Thinking that it was just some sick joke. She brought it in and herself to get tested. Well it was postive with AIDS. She was postive with HIV. I think that they found the person who did it.

That person was mad at the world. to bad the person had to take it out on someone. Well just remember to look before u sit. After all the court couldn't sentence a person who was dying soon anyway. I pretty sure this person got off. I think it was a he.
Kinda scarey how your life can change by just going to the movies.
