As far as I know, I've never posted a picture here before, But maybe I'll start!
They're not the best, but I hope you like them.

I'll try to explain it. It's just some little pic I did. A friend uses this style and I thought I'd try it too. :sweat2:

So what do you think? Honestly?

    Honestly...
The shading for being coloured pencil.. it rockz...
Proportion wise, It's ok, only the head a tad too big, eyes.. are... :glazed:
the eyes themselves, though, being huge they look right
    the nose... well.. it's over expressed ^^;
    mouth is fine
hands are a bit.. clumsy... 4 fingers ^^; and a tad too small
    hair/clothes/accesories they're all fine too

Thanks! This isn't my favorite type, but it is kind of cute. I just thought I'd try it. But thanks for the comments! A lot of people just say 'yea, that's good' and it gets a little annoying. It's nice to hear honest comments. :anime:

Yeah! I saw your site and it's really cool! Oh, by the way, here's another picture. I tried to post it with the first, but I couldn't find it then. The first one's Inu-Yasha and more of my style. The second is Vash and also my style. They're also two of the actually good anime pictures I've done. Hope you like them! :catgirl:

    Constructed Crit:
-Shading is better than I could ever do in colored pencil
-overall very pleasing to the eye! GOOD JOB YAH!
    Picking at it:
-eyes are a bit uneven, heads a bit small....
-hands, but I shouldn't talk, those things are hard to draw

    (that's it!)

For your second set of pictures:
They both look great. Did you draw them from looking at another picture of from memory? Anyways, I think they're excellent. I really like the Vash one. He's a bit crosseyed though ^^

From pictures. The Inu-yasha one was hard though. The picture was only about a fourth of a page big! That was crazy! But thatnks everyone! And Yasuko, I love the signature you have. Mononoke rules! :sweat2:

spyro1900--Yeah, the black-haired one is the human Inu-yasha. I don't think that you ever see both next to each other, but I actually found a picture on the internet like this. And thanks! :catgirl:

Gabrielle--Thanks! I can't really draw a picture without coloring it even though it might look better in black and white. Everyone seems to like these!
    Thanks everyone! :catgirl:

Well, overall your artwork is very nice. ^^ You've got a pretty good grasp of proportion, though as was noted of the first image, you should still work on the hands - hands are evil, most artists have trouble with them (myself included). Your coloring is nice in terms of shading, and it's fairly uniform. But you might want to work on getting the pencils to look less grainy - what kind of colored pencils do you use? A softer lead might be a better choice if you prefer to color lightly. Alternately, you can try going over your base color with a lighter shade (like going over a dark blue with a lighter blue, or using yellow over green) to make the colors richer and smoother.

I usually just use Crayola or Rose Art pencils. Yeah, they're kind of sucky, but that's all I have. I'll keep you suggestion in mind about using a lighter color over the base color. Thanks! :catgirl:
