Recreation Stupid Life! Aaaahhhhh!

    God I just realized how much life sucks and how my life has no meaning. Then I just got really paranoid and wanted to go Hulk on somebodys @$$! So now I am listening to my loudest most angry music to get my anger level up so I could create this rant.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how to get out of a depression. I really need it and I bet some have you felt this way before. I won't go into how I began felling this way since it probably depress some of you.

    I NEED HELP!!!!!

    I would definitely talk to someone about this. Having someone to talk to and work things out with is crucial when you feel down. Talk to people on M2A, your friends, your parents, etc. and don't forget that you are never alone! There are always people willing to listen.

    Yes, Death Metal does help. What helps me with depression is looking forward to something, or make something to look forward to...I know how you feel man, it sucks....but dont let it get to ya, cuz it will make it worse. When I finished high school, I felt like I had no social standing at all....which put me into a shitty mood for the longest time, but I got over it, and found who my real friends were ^^; SO JUST KICK ****ING BACK AND BOOOZE, or something, just dont let it get to ya.

    Well, whenever I'm truly irate at someone, I prefer to be alone. That way, I can reason with myself on why I am so angry, and sometimes, I mock-tell-them-off as though they were right there. I like not getting other people involved, because it just complicates the matter and make things worse for me.

    Don't give up.I've been depressed before.I know not everyone can relate to this,but I turn to the "good book" when I need help.Then,I think about how good I actually have it.Because no matter what,it can always be worse.You could be a 67 pound Ethiopian boy dying from Aids,or a complete cripple.I just count my blessings.I realize there's always a way to get around your problems.Just keep your head up,kid.;) It will pass.:)

    I dont know if this will help you, but whenever im down, or just not feeling like myself I always find something that makes me happy and I do it. Or I find something that will make me smile or laugh and I turn to that. It really helps alot:)

    My advice is, contrary to the opinions of others, NOT to get drunk. Alcohol is a depressant and will make things worse. It will also possibly make you do something stupid that you'll regret for years.
    But, yeah, the loud music helps. Just don't displace any rage and take things out on someone else. I've been the whipping boy before, and it's not fun.
    Seek counselling if you feel you need it, but generally just suck it up and get on with your life. It's not the nicest thing to say, I know, but wallowing in sorrow never solved anything.
    Take whatever emotions you may have, and use them for something productive. Art, writing, music, whatever. In every situation there is the possibility to improve. Save yourself before you hit the bottom.
    And above all, do not hurt yourself. Especially to the point where it seriously affects your health. I used to subject myself to all sorts of very bad things when I wasn't quite right emotionally, and now I'm really feeling the effects.
    Just remember that whether or not you know it, and whether or not you believe it, and whether or not you feel it, someone cares about you.

    I never said get drunk. I said be alone. I'd rather lay in my bed just staring at the ceiling and thinking nothing than getting wasted. It allows you time to think. Pondering is so cleansing. Besides, that's how I come up with my oh-so-excellent stories! :D

    But seriously, if it's so bad that you would be unsafe by yourself, then don't. I just feel more secure without people around. There are those who would call me a misanthrope, while others would just call me anti-social. What you will.

    Yeah... I dont see how you dont like life... i love it...

    There are soo many good things that come from it... besides... it lets us prepare for the afterlife in heaven (if you believe that)

    Edit: And as blue crow said... i always look to the bible for answers and help and support from god, i always get it. There is i believe a verse for every situation you could have in life.

    When i lost my third friend to cancer... i found the following verse in the bible and i always look to it for support when i remember him...

    My signature banner partially says it. I've been extremely depressed this summer, and still am. Though I'm an only child and don't have that many friends, so I had to learn to rely on myself and my skills. When I'm depressed I stay alone, not like that changes much to the usual. Lol. Just take it day by day, It'll go away sometime. And don't get your hopes up about something too much, because if it doesn't happen you'll only become more depressed. That's a depressed person's 0.02$, take it or leave it. If you need to talk, well, come to the ChatRoom or something. *Shrugs*

    It happens to the best of us, just find something that you enjoy and go with it. I usually find hanging out with a friend or two and playing some video games or watching a movie or just random crud on TV helps a lot, takes your mind off what sucks and puts it on whats good. And yeah, don't get drunk, while it can make ya feel ebtter for a bit, the resulting hangover in the morning makes you hate everything all the more, lol. ;) Stick it out, things'll get better. :)

    A word of advice Kamui; when someones depressed... dont mention "The afterlife"

    Anyways, there are a lot of ways to deal with depression. Novus mentioned two that i did yet he was against them (1) Booze; dont get super drunk & dont ever drink alone, be with friends & have a good time out. (2) Random violence; One of the ways i was brought into depression was mental bullying... along the way i killed two birds with one stone by beating the crap outta the bullies... i wouldnt advise it for anyone though... live & learn, live & learn...

    If you have a girlfriend, go with her & spend quality time with her... dont ***** about your problem to her though, just be together. & music... Pantera works well.

    I can relate. When I am sad, and I am at the very moment. I listen I Linkin Park or Evanesence VERY loud.

    I would say- Just dont be like me and stay in bed all day and avoid school or you will be in ****. Go with your friends and do what makes you happy. Dont kiss someones *** b/c they may be feeling bad to and well I am sure you wouldnt want someone coming up to you kicking your *** (if they can, I dont know) The music thing helps me so id say keep that up just dont blow out the speakers or you'll be more depressed :dizzy2:

    Oh ya, go and play Final Fanasy or something and kick *** in the video game world that way you wont hurt someone in Real life or get in trouble

    lie on your bed, crack open a beer, slap in moby 18 the album, and chill out, smile, watch a bit of cartoons, anime preferably, and just chill out, then think to yourself, the only reason u say ur life has no meaning is becuase ur relating it to other peoples lifes, ur life is urs, noones life has no meaning, :)

    I took everybodys advice and I was feeling pretty good.... then someone stole my bike. So now I am back and angry again.:mad: ssssssoooooooooooooo

    STUPID LIFE!!! IS NOTHING HOLY!!!!

    so anyway I will take all your advice again. I have a beer in my hand right now (even though i am underage) and am listening to some old Mettalica so loud that my mom is complaining from across the room:rolleyes: I think I will add some porn to the equation to help speed the recovery:p So unless something else goes wrong I should get better pretty soon. so one more time.

    I had mine stolen once. It is crap *** suckyness. Dont drink too much beer :dizzy2: I dont want you to do something dumb, ok?
    I would report the bike thing then um, ummmmmm, get your lisence and drive? I dont know if all else fails run or walk to places ^^;;;

    Calm down, Raven.
    Depression is a serious sickness of the mind, and I don't know if you are really, truly depressed, but either way, here's what you should do. Definately talk to someone, heck, talk to me, I'm an instand cheerup! ^^ Or, someone you look up to of course. And some good stress relievers are excercizing (maybe...) or watching something really funny. Something you really enjoy, like for me, Love Hina is an instant cheer up! It could be a movie or anything. Also, set aside any work you have on your back. Just forget about for a little. If that doesn't work, jump on something comfy, get your favorite food (mm.. ramen soup!) and read something you like. Not a book. A magazine or manga, or something like that. For me, art is another way. When I'm sad, I draw sad things, when I'm angry, my pictures are scary. Music is of course good, and no matter what people say, when your angry at life, LISTEN TO ANGRY music.
