Suggestion

    Being moderator of Events and Recreation, I see/have seen a lot of threads concerning recent events being posted (Elections, etc..). The Events forum is crowded with Birthday threads and such, and I think a more appropriate place for recent events to be discussed is needed.

    What I'm suggesting is: The renaming of Events to "Celebrations", and creation of a forum named "Current Events", or "Recent Events".

    Edit: And if this forum is created, I would like to Moderate it.

    I agree. I thought it odd to one day see the Events full of birthday threads and other celebrations then suddenly see a Political issue/event brought up, etc. To me, it's a bit odd and there should be a more fitting place to discuss recent events which are not celebrations and not a place to post in the News section of the forum.

    yea... it's like better organizing the stuff.
    should be easier to see the important stuff from birthday greetz to whatever ^^

    I've always wanted to be a moderator. (Hint, hint) I'm on a lot, (at least once a day), I like power :D, although I would do my best not to abuse it, and I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty if necessary. I wouldn't hold it against you if you refused, but I would like to give it a try.
