Suggestions for other series

    One more new thread for you guys. I am a big time Love Hina fan and I am currently looking for a new anime series to start into. Any suggestions?

    My favorite shows are as follows, and I would suggest any of them as must see anime.

    1. Love Hina
    2. Onegai Teacher
    3. RahXephon
    4. Ayashi no Ceres
    5. Fushigi Yuugi
    6. Neon Genesis Evangelion
    7. Kare Kano (aka. His/Her Circumstances)
    8. Chobits
    9. Oh! My Goddess
    10. Cardcaptor Sakura

    It is a diverse list, but I was interested in what Love Hina fans have to suggest. Usually suggestions like Hand Maid May come up as similar to Love Hina, something that never cought my interest though I have now seen it twice. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

    Macross/Robotech. Not an obvious choice but some very good romance in them.

    I jumped from that to Love Hina wasn't much of a jump

    I'm watching Ai Yori Aoshi right now....or somewhat watching it. It came highly recommended to me, and I think I can highly recommend it back. Aoi is just too cute for words. :D

    Umm, I'm only going to try and list ones sort of similar to Hina because this *is* the Hina forum. I'd try to ask in the Misc forum, prolly get better results.

    Anyway
    1) Ai Yori Aoshi
    2) I My Me! Strawberry Eggs (Okay, not much like LH at all...)
    3) DNA^2 (Super Hina!!! Junta gets ALLLLLLLLLL the girls, and then some!!!)
    4) Pita Ten (It's like Ultra-uber-kawaii! I dunno, for some reason, I like it...)

    And that's all I can think of at the top of my head.

    aye, but if he wants the opinions of Love Hina fans, this is the place to be.

    Haven't bumped into too many people who know Rah Xephon at all. cool. I've got through 13, seen up to 6. Liking it.

    I'll echo the recommendations for Saber Marionette J and I My Me, Strawberry Eggs (bit trippy, but hey). DNA² as well of course, and from there, the leap to Video Girl Ai isn't all that far.

    Thanks for the responces. Here is where I stand.

    Alright, well if you must know I have seen all of RahXephon and love it!!! It is my third favorite anime of all time, I own the first and second OST and love them also, as for Ai Yori, I would have loved it if not for Tina (I have seen all that have had fansubs published, through 21, I think). As I was a big time Shinobu fan, Aoi is right up my alley, but the er fondling got to me after, well about a minute.

    I was already looking at blue seed as a possability and have begun researching the others. Thanks for the help. (I will leave this forum open if anyone else wishes to add to these)
