Video Games Suikoden 1-3

Hey y'all it's Yume here. Has anyone played Suikoden yet????? I'd like your input. I've never played 3, but I love 1 + 2.:anime:

 

III is a wonderful game.

 

I'm almost finished with playing Suikoden II. My brother's beaten all three games.

Speaking of which, I wrote a ballad dedicated to Suikoden II. Enjoy! I don't rmember the scene exactly, so it is not 100% identical to the scene (and there's a stanza or two where the meter's a bit off), but I hope the rest of the poem makes up for it.

“Patricide”

“I love your sister,” Jowy said
to Luca in his tent.
“I’ll marry her and win the war,”
he claimed (and surely meant).

“The King, your father, will agree,
just ask him on this night,
and we’ll be brothers, you and I,”
he said ‘mongst firelight.

The days went on, Prince Luca fought,
With Jowy by his side.
They conquered Muse and pillaged towns
And Kuskus by the night.

King Blight called Jowy to his throne
To merit his success
And granted him his daughter’s hand
To honor and love, no less.

Knights came and gathered ‘round the aisle.
“The engagement must be made
In a formal manner,” Luca said,
“on this very day.”

Luca held a cup of wine
While Jowy cut his hand
And let the blood drip in the cup.
Formality commands.

“I take your blood into my being,
as you’ll become my son.
Your blood will mingle with my own,”
The King had said at once.

He set the cup up to his lips
As Jowy watched with patience.
The King took one gulp down his throat
And suddenly lost his balance.

The King fell down onto the floor,
convulsing on the ground.
But not one foot stepped towards him;
As if no one was around.

“How could such treachery be done?
The cup’s been guarded well.
What magic have you cast on me
My son, you’ll rot in hell!”

Prince Jowy poisoned his own blood
To make its contents potent
His tolerance was built high enough,
But would kill one in moments.

King Luca laughed; his father dead
The throne was his this time.
Highland was his land to rule,
with Jowy next in line.

lol that is so cute. i have to say templeton, jowy, and annallee are my favorite characters. anf flik was cuter in 1 than 2.
