One of the best Super NES games out there in my opinion.(Its my favorite Mario game.)

This game was really fun.It was my second RPG ever, and it is still one of my favorites. It mixes the traditional Mario game formula(with the jumping ability) with a real good RPG formula. The story was good too.(which is rare for a Mario game.)

What did you think of it?

I love the interactivity of it. I mean, there's so much you can do...especially in that tiny lil' SNES cart that I woulda thought would be full by the time they just rendered everything. Battles are intuitive, only really needing the alphanumeric buttons...and not even the shoulder ones. You have almost ALL of Mario's abilities, including the invincibility star...and the characters are great! Especially Jynx...tiny little guy was cool.

However, my complaint is that it's too short. It's a good game...but it's short. One good game day...and I'm more than 3/4ths done. THAT ain't cool. But, as I said, for a SNES cart with so much already in it...I kinda expected it.

I had a blast with it, and it continues to be one of my favorite console RPGs. :)

Being able to play as Bowser was cool indeed. The "weapon" that made him throw Mario was a classic.

Geno was pretty cool too.I never really used him much but he was pretty strong. My team was always Mario,Bowser and the Princess. This team was invincible,I never lost a battle.

Geno, Mario, and the Princess. Geno's defense SUCKS, but using that one item to lower FP cost, I just kept Geno Boosting, then attacking with Mario's Lazy Shell and the Princess just either healed or attacked. Her attack sucked though, since she had the Lazy Shell armor on.

I like the party because it's a stat party. Hehe, Geno Boost enough, and the boss can only kill ya with Instant Kills. And Mario with Lazy Shell/Crystal combo, kicks all. And the easiest way to win against that FF Boss in Monstro is to probably equip the Princess with the Lazy Shell armor and that item that lowers MP consumption and just keep healing herself until that dude runs out of FP...then bring everyone back to live and kill all!!!

Oh yeah, Group Hug is CHEAP! I love that thing!

Oh, Jinx rocks! He kicks all but! :p
