Art Superfly! (new drawings added regulary)

Superfly! (UPDATE Oct 17 -05)

Okay I'll just keep one thread for my drawings for now (apart from the Back from SPLAT! thread), so I'll start off with something new right away.

Something I had in my sketchbook and decided to colour in Painter IX, I wish I made something better out of it. 't Was my first time using the program anyway.. And my tablet is too small to use it properly, but as long as it isn't worn out, I'll use it!

An old orc and his son..

 

Very nicely done. I love the tattoo on the younger orc's head, very interesting. I also like the older orcs hair and teeth, nice detail on those. Awesome job overall.

 

Actually, the smaller one is the old one, he's like.. REALLY old

The main idea is that the elder Orc (green one) his legs are malfunctioning (makes him sound like a robot) because of his age, so the big one carries him on his shoulder. It doesn't look exactly like I intended to, but at first, the big guy wasn't even included

 

Something I'm working on right now..

 

and further we progress.. see the small, yet subtle changes within the colouring? (yes I'm writing colouring, because I'm European, thus I feel more connected with the British! Harharhar, take that America! )

 

Most of the North American members with any sort of seniority are Canadian, hence we are already quite familiar with putting a u in colour. Keep raging against the machine there, buddy.

Regardless this newer piece seems to be on to a good start; I'll have to wait till it's finished before commenting any further.

 

Hey don't ask me about the whereabouts of our members, I've been away for a year or so.. I'm not up to date.
I should post the original sketch I made with that image, the guy looks much nicer, and is full of anatomical flaws. I managed to make it far more interesting by tilting his head down. Overall, I feel like I've made a big improvement so far. It takes long to work on it, but I'm reaching new "artistic heights" I haven't been able to reach before.

Don't worry though (if anyone would be), I'm still drawing manga-style when it's concerning my story

 

Wow, those are quite good! Love the coloring! (I'm from the US, not proud, but won't deny it...especially not thru my spelling ) Keep it up!

wowo that looks amazing!!!!! i wish i could to that with a tablet! lol. I liek how his hair constrasts with the "hair" on the helmet. its awsome, but why are his eyes red crying? why was he crying? I get many queations from pictures lol.

 

...and it's amazing! Great job, love the detail as much as I love BJP.
