Voltron Sven's True Feelings about Vultures

I have always wondered if this was a blunder in the writing, or if it was intentional to show some kind of irony. When the Voltron Force is imprisoned on Planet Doom at the beginning of the series, a Vulture comes by with a small carcass and Sven says, "ugly birds." Then later in the same episode after the vulture helps the team escape, Sven says, "I always thought they were beautiful."

Make up your mind, man!

I THINK THAT WAS JUST THE WAY THEY WROTE HIS CHARACTER. HE WAS ALWAYS ONE FOR THE SARCASM.

I ALWAYS LIKED THAT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER.

 

So on that note, does he think they're ugly or beautiful?

when they were about to eat him inthe beginning, they were the worst thing that he could look at-----
when they were part of the rescue----i think he would have married one if it could talk and asked him.

Beautiful to him was the way something so ugly could be so helpful to the team.

I think he feels they are Pretty Ugly.

 

Did you ever wonder why Sven's uniform was black, yet he piloted the blue lion, and Keith wore red, yet he is the black lion's pilot.
And Lance's is all mixed up too.....

 

Actually, Sven's uniform is hunter green, and Pidge's is kelly green. (That is until they messed it up in Season 2).

I always wondered by Hunk and Pidge were the only two who had their uniforms match their lions. There may be a logical reason for the colors explained in Golion, but they certainly make no mention of it in Voltron.
