Naruto Sympathy For Sound?

(MAJOR SPOILERS)

I was just wondering... does anyone else here feel some sort of.. hm.. remorse? Or sympathy for some of the Sound Nin? I mean, let's start with the Three Genin... Dosu, Zaku and Kin...

Like all the Sound Nin, I'm sure, they were chosen by Orochimaru, taken from whatever villages they had already belonged to and were manipulated by Orochimaru into thinking that if they followed him they could unleash some kind of ultimate power, become some of the most powerful shinobi ever... of course, during the Chuunin Exams, it's Dosu who discovers just how much of a crock it is; he's the one that figures out that he, Zaku and Kin were, indeed, just cannon fodder for the Cursed Sasuke and test his capabilities; all along, they were just pawns slowly being moved into their own checkmate. And, what happens when they survive the Chuunin Exams (at the cost of Zaku losing both arms, of course)? All three are sacrificed with what would seem like no hesitation by Orochimaru to attempt the revival of the First, Second and Fourth.

Then there are the Four; Jidoumou, Kidoumaru, Tayuya and Ukon/Sakon... surely, it seems as if they are another group of sadists much like Orochimaru, though short after their introduction (after the Chuunin Trials, that is), that they are literally dolls to move to the every whim of Orochimaru, without any real free will of their own (and judging from the look of Tayuya's face, this is not a very well-liked aspect of the Cursed Seal)... of course, they are all killed and Orochimaru does not even acknoweldge their deaths.

Then, there is Kimimaro. This... well, frankly, schmuck, who is positively enthralled with Orochimaru, a sadistic ******* who cares nothing more than to have stolen Kimimaro's body for his Bloodline ability, and would have, if it were not for the disease that struck Kimimaro. Then, Kimimaro heads out to try and ensure that Sasuke finds his way back to Orochimaru, and sacrifices himself, giving up his life, and fighting to the death with Gaara all to defend the name of Orochimaru, and to show his love...

His love for a man who, when Kimimaro died, said "What is happening to him does not interest me"... and instead, was more worried about getting Sasuke's body.

Ten truly talented shinobi who had the opportunity to be something great... but they were tainted by Orochimaru, bribed, tricked and manipulated with a callous disregard for their life.. who knows just how long Kabuto will last?

So... Zaku, Dosu, Kin, Jidoumou, Tayuya, Kidoumaru, Ukon, Sakon, Kimimaro, and Kabuto... my heart goes out to you. Hope you find peace in the next life, and I hope your end, Kabuto, is not as tragic as the others.

 

Yeah, it is sad how all that happened. Especially how they were tricked, used, and then discarded like yesterdays trash. I thought it was unfair about Orichimaru's lack of caring for them. That stupid *******. But hey, thats what makes Orichimaru such a great bad guy. He doesnt give a **** until it gets personal...otherwise he will just sit back and watch the show. Which I think is cowardly of him, especially since he is so strong and thinks high of himself. Yeah, he proved his point... All of them find out all too late that he cares nothing for them, and are then killed. Which, Orichimaru doesnt even bat an eyelash at.
And yes, may no one else get used and discarded by Orichimaru.

I guess they think that he is destined to be powerful and great. So they offered themselves to him, in hopes that they too may become powerful and great. Or maybe they just didnt have anyone else to turn to. maybe they were misjudged, and hurt by people when they were younger. Then they turned to Orichimaru, thinking he might know their pain...who knows, those are just my guesses...

i know it's so sad but well, it is their life... but everyone should gang up and try to kill orochimaru. looks a hell of a lot better than before.

 

Its either the promise of power (3 sound nins) or The cursed seal is gonna kill them or something (sound four) I don't really know, but that's why I think they were so loyal to him.

About Kabuto, maybe he's just attracted to Oro just like Kimimaro..

 

Well, for Kabuto and Kimimaro it's probably both love (though there's probably a possibility of sexual attraction). If you remember, Kabuto was an orphan and brought back from the ruins of a ninja village, so he never really had a family. Orochimaru seemed to act as a sort of superior, almost father-figure, for Kabuto, and it's not uncommon for people to become almost obsessively attracted to these figures.

Kimimaro's entire family was dead, though we don't really know for how long... it could, possibly, be the same thing with him, as well.

Though if you remember, from what we actually KNOW of these people, they were all lonely or weak (if I remember correctly, I believe it was VR that pointed it out, but Zaku was just a punk from the streets). So, of course the offer of power and acceptance would be VERY tempting to them. Orochimaru picked out those that were lonely, weak and/or those that needed attention.
