Music System of a Down

Who likes them? and why?

I used to love these guys.
Then I saw them at Ozzfest and almost fell asleep on my feet.
The most dissapointing live performance I'd ever seen.
Oddly enough everyone else love it.
Now I can't bring myself to listen to one of their CDs.
They have been put at the bottom of the CD pile with the rest of the bands I don't like.
Now I'd just rate them totally mediocre, nothing special.

What do you people think?

 

Ionly like a few songs. They are ok... I like some of their political views.

 

At Ozzfest the Guitarist(I forget his name) made the crowd start chanting "**** the System".
I know the system sucks and we should **** it at every opportunity, but it seemed a bit juvinile to me.

I still can't believe Slayer opened for them.

Anyway I have wierd political views do to my history classes. lol... So I agree with System on alot of political views. I would say that all day long if I can.

 

I hate going to concerts, anything live, I fall asleep (Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Music Concerts) As for their songs, I didn't like their recent CD too much, I thought their first one was better. I only listen to music either on mp3s or CDs.

 

I love going to gigs. Seeing the band play live and hearing the music live is great. There's always a great atmosphere.
Especially Nile, this october people. If your in the Dublin area, get down to that gig it's gonna be the gig of the year.

 

At last, someone who saw that show and saw how much it sucked. I didn't have any strong feelings towards SOAD before Ozzfest either way, but afterwards, I just think they suck. It was an awful performance, one of the worst of the day, and it didn't help with all the dumbasses-who-knew-not-how-to-mosh in the mosh pit either. Live, that guy can't sing and that other guy really can't play the guitar. Slayer, on the totaly opposite side of the scale ruled all there was to rule. Excellent selection of songs, impecably played with some superb moshing. Ph33r and 0wn1n9 all round. Uncle Sweetie, you should try going to some gigs where you don't just sit there, like underground metal gigs or **** like that. Get into the mosh pit and "Let's do some diving, boy".

 

Yeah I thought that the guitarist was sounding a bit...well off.
In the Slayer mosh pit I was in some muck savage from god knows where(the dude was actually waring wellies) kept falling on the ground ever everyone had to pick him up. And after it started raining(aptley enough during Raining Blood) the dude was getting filthy. Ah memories.
Slayer did indeed as you say "Ph33r and 0wn1n9 all round".

Dude go to a slayer gig, you ain't gonna fall asleep there.

 

I would like to go to concerts like that where I won't fall asleep, but the thing is my town sucks ***, and trying to find anything like that you have to go all the way to this city called worchester about 50 miles away from my town, and I really aint a big fan of driving, especially at night.

As for concerts I haven't fallen asleep on is:

DMX concert
and the 1998 and 1999 Jammin 94.5 concert (Rap concert)

The Jammin 94.5 concerts sucks now, the new rap artist only talk about gold, diamonds, bimmers, caddies, and other expensive **** and HOs. I like good old gangsta rap.
