    As reported by ANN:

    "A new anime movie staring Russian pop duo t.A.T.u. is set to be released in Japan in November 2004. The official website for t.A.T.u. Paragate gives no information about the movies plot but does give us a look at the staff. Paragate will be directed by Norio Kashima and Susume Kudoh while Shinichiro Watanabe will direct the opening. Thanks to Jubbi for this item."

    They'll make movies about anything these days...

    I think their drawing is kind of pretty but i mean seriously i dont want to actually see them making out in anime.

    Interestingly enough, right when this page loaded I fell into a sudden fit of coughing. Then I read the posts, and it became a sudden urge to vomit. What is the world coming to when no-talent one-hit-wonders get animated movies? What's next, Men Without Hats: The Series?

    Theres something VERY very wrong about that... and Im not sure what it is.
    anyway, something possesed me to go to the site and the first thing I though was "looks like FLCL art-style" :dizzy2: which it does to me, but that EVEN WORSE! becuse I really like flcl

    Heh. Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the show. I like their music and I'm glad their happy with who they are, instead of trying to hide it like certin people would. The animation looks really cool. Plus, I'd like to see them in a comedy. It would add to their image, which is already one of the best. Some people, though, do believe they are a one hit wonder (which I strongly disagree) but I have their CD and it has some really good songs on it. (Clowns, All the things she said, 30 minutes, ect.) So, how much music do you think they'll sing in it?

    I really don't care about what people think about t.a.t.u getting their own anime series, and although some people think their one hit wonders, they are only one hit wonders in America because I think Americans don't open their minds to new things and other music from different countries besides Japan and Mexican music. It really doesn't matter that they are getting made into an anime as long as the anime is good like FLCL or Naruto or even Akira.

    Actually you thought right, they are done, and I forgot which one it is but one of them is actually back with her boyfriend and making a solo album.

    There's a lot of other "world music" out there if you look for it. Half the people in America's music industry are Canadian. There's not a whole lot of Mexicans or Japanese people in American music either. A lot of Latinos, yes, but very few Mexicans.

    If your going to make an anime about a band then do Aqua... Who wouldn't want to see them flying around on Seahorses and Starfish.
