i was just wondering who all has jobs in here, and what kind of job. sorry for the thread title, figured it would catch a bit more attention than "jobs". the reason i was asking is because i finally got another job. i work at arbys now, laugh all you want, its better than not having a job. so, if u work, just let us all know what you do

i work at Mcdonalds part time just want to get some money going ya know. i mean i can't take my girlfriend out and by her a candy bar for 69 cents every time.

 

My job is in the airport (Wooooo)

I deal with the flights... (WOOOOO)

Food trays (*Silence*)

8hrs putting all the flights food trays into a big cleaning machine... sounds really easy & retarded... & it is, except for getting up at 4 in the morning & listening to a boss that knows bugger all.

Suddenly college seems a good idea... or searching the ice trays for handguns as one induction video pointed out may happen... so far none

Techically I don't really have a job at the moment, becuase I quit my old one...dog walking... I had this crazy dog that weighed 200 pounds and nearly drowned me. I work for my dad. Well I have to do moronic volunteer hours to graduate, so I'm gonna work at the hospital! Hey... they have better food there than they do at my cafeteria, and it's cheaper too! :sweat2:

 

Currently I have 2 jobs. Night shift custodial where I'm currently working the big carpet cleaning machine (previously I'd been cleaning a floor with restricted access, they were doing psych experiments with rats, I'll share more if someone's interested) I'm also working as a Waiter at an Old Spaghetti factory, that's working out pretty well. I'd say pretty well... other people would drop their jaws.. always fun to start off a shift with a 61% tip. It kinda ticks people off when they're pulling <10% tips on most of their meals... Honestly, I think the majority of this state has yet to move out of the 70's in a lot of ways

I have two jobs right now both part time. My first is RGIS. I count inventory. My second i just started Taco Bell. Yo queiro Taco Bell? I should be getting like 30-35 hrs a week there. In aug i work the beet harvest for 1 - 2 months. Its fun and the money comes rolling in. I plan on next year untarping beets (more money) for 1 month.

 

I work the summers at a cafe called the "Back Door Cafe". My mom works there so she always books me for the summers. I hate it there, it's so busy. I have to run around everywhere, answer the phone, bus the tables...but they dont' trust me with the cash register and I definately dont wanna work in the back where they fix the food. So I'm the little waitress everyone is givin' tips to.

I'm a voulenteer at an adventure day camp it doesnt pay anything but it will look good on my college resigme.

 

I only have a summer job, but that counts. I work at where I go to gymnastics. We do a little summer camp thing in the summer that goes from 9-12 and I'm there from 8:30-12:20 There are kids from about 4 to 10ish. Ya little kids are cute and all until they bend back your fingers and spray juice on you. But it's a pretty decent job all around. I'm planning on working there part time durring the year too(hopefully)

 

I have the sweetest gig ever, i am working at a welding shop and i get to sell what i make. also we are gonna restore a flatbottom skiff and do some electrical, and theres job security, its my dads best friend

 

My stepdad works at a welding shop he says when I get older I can help out there but what I really want to do is set up a hot line so that people call in and tell me what to make and then I make it and then they pay me but my stepdad said that half of the profets go to his job so I dont know about that Idea

 

Ya I do I babysite from 10:30pm - 11:30pm at night. Then on some days of the week during summer I go to a private day care and help take care of the kids. Yes my career choice is to work with kids its called Earily Childhood Education

 

i dont have a job yet, but my friend works at walmart, she brings home the scratched anime dvds that people bring back, so.....^_^ i fix them and translate them to another dvd, and watch all the anime i want!

 

That sounds so sweet.

I work at a pretzel place until the end of the month when we move. I have pretty cool coworkers (dirty minds though), but we get a lot of rude and/or stupid people. The kind who can't read a menu when it's right in front of their face, you know.

Hopefully when I go to college I can get a clerical job there during the year. If not, in the summer I'll do something. I'd really like to work at a bookstore or something like that.

 

I wish i could work... but, the child labor laws wont let me....

CURSE YOU CHILD LABOR LAWS!!!!!!

Cus im only 13... so, i want to be able to work... cus i need money...
