    Wait a minute...you mean EarthSea...the books, the mini-series and the movie with Sean Ashmore? You mean THAT Earthsea!? OMFG O_O We just watched the movie of that in Fantasy and Sci-Fi!

    Interesting...I heard the American movie pissed the writer of the books off...Maybe Miyazaki junior can do it some justice. =)

    Sparrow hawk and Tenar will be there. Not sure how close it will the miniseries.

    Well I know from a recent quote he wasn't all to happy about the miniseries. I still liked it.

    i am looking forward to this movie mostly because i love the work studio ghibli does but that has all been hayao and this time its his son so i hope he can do it some good

    You mean the writer of the books? It's a she. =P He rname is Ursula....something. XD;; I only remember her first name for some reason....

    I'd liek to point out (unsure if you knew or not) but Miyazaki isn't the only one that makes movies at studio ghibli. Miyazaki's mentor Isao Takahata is also with Ghibli as is another guy...the one that did Whisper of the Herat and the Cat returns...Yoshi Endo I believe his name is.

    This looks to be very interesting! The writer of the books is Ursula K. Le Guin.. I saw the mini series on Sci-fi a while ago.. it was really interesting but I think I will enjoy this movie more (I hope).

    No clue if it will come out here.

    But it is out in Japan. :(

    Hopefully Disney will get the rights to it. Meh.

    BUMP.

    Well dvd release date is September 12.

    I have seen it.

    For those who have seen the Miniseries. It takes place WAY WAY WAY after. Sparrowhawk and Tenar are old. Okay maybe not WAY WAY WAY just WAY WAY.

    My take on the movie was it has a good storyline. Interesting characters. Only thing is that it didn't have that captivating appeal Howl's Moving Castle has.
