Manga Ring Project Tasks and Missions!

I'll list some tasks, or little missions, to give members an idea of how to contribute to the project. Please post here the task number you'd be willing to take. Please do not apply for a task that you cannot complete. And you'd have to set a deadline for yourself. Okay then...


1. Design the following Character/Draw Sketches for the following (Rumiko Takashi Style):

• Minato's Teacher (M) Suzu due 8 July 2005
• Minato's Rival, wearing a Judo uniform (M)
  [*]Gangsters (M+F?) Meaikoh due 8 July 2005
• Satomi's Friend (f)
• Drunken Dragon Waitress (F)
  
  
  2.Scenes/Map Sketches: (1 picture of the following)
• Drunken Dragon Restuarant interior: "dimly lit and very empty, but there is a very warm and inviting stocked buffet: - BMS
• School Building (Exterior POV)
• Class Room
• Fast food restaruant/Diner interior
  
  3. Conceptual Apparel and Accessories Sketches/Designs:
• Male Japanese High School Uniforms
• Female Japanese High School Uniforms
• Drunken Dragon Female Waitress Uniform

Ok, I'd prefer that you take your time, 2 days is a short time to accomplish anything, a week or two is more than enough time so just PM me a new dead line, and I'll change it for you.

 

I'm new, and thus I'm completely confused....aren't you designing a webring or something? If so, then why do you need things drawn? ERghh...nevermind the questions.

I can probably do some drawing work, except I have no idea what to draw, and i'm totally confused as to the identity of these "waitress and teacher, etc."

Here is my attempt in the Rumiko Takahashi style...I really couldn't get it at all. Sorry.



I'm not sure I can draw well enough in her style to be a part of the project. Suzu, I'll leave that up to you.

 

Could I do 1e? Two weeks to draw it in. Can I also do one gang member 1c? Again two weeks. I don't want to step on anyones toes. Plus I have a really "neat" idea.

 

Hi I'm back from the great beyond! Sorry, I said I was going to do some GCSE exam revision and accidentally finished high school and did 2 years of college.

I think this'd be pretty interesting, and I'd like to try doing 1b. I'll start it now and have it done by 9th Sep (going away for a day or so, and I don't think stonehenge has an internet connection. yet...), but to be on the safe side don't rely on me for it to be too good; I'll have alot of stuff done, but I dunno how well it'll turn out.

Would appreciate any description of what kinda character it is, other than just rival! If anyone can tell me what sort of feel they want for him it'd help.
