Video Games Tekken 5

At E3, Namco showed a trailer with Tekken 5, and it starts immedietly after the end of Tekken 4. Heihachi vs Kazuya, when suddenly Raven storms in with the Jack 5's. Kazuya manages to escape but Heihachi...dies!

That's right, Heihachi Mishima dies.

Anyway, there are three new charachters:

Raven - The frontman who lead the Jack 5s
Feng Lei - Chinese martial arts master who wants to show his power and combat skills in the King of Fist tournament
Asuka Kazama - Her realtionship with Kazama family is unknown at the moment, but her movements and attacks resembles Jun Kazama's, Jin's mother. Could this be Jin's little sister?

The effects and graphics looks amazing, and almost all of the "orignal" players have new costumes. Exact realise dates are unknown but arcade ones will be out 2004 while for the PS2 next year.

Watch... Heihachi will be another secret character later on. Perhaps cyber Heihachi??!! :sweat2:

 

Meh. I was disappointed with Tekken 4 so I don't plan to get my hopes up even remotely on this. Unless Heihachi somehow is in the game, he'd be the only reason worth playing it besides maybe Yoshimitsu... if he doesn't look like such a moron like he did in 4. :\ A return of Unknown would be awesome, as well.

Not sure if I should get excited about this or not. I love Tekken, but 4 was such a letdown. Eh, I'll probably just end up renting it anyway.

Is it true that Jun's sister is one of the new characters?

 

No idea really, but I assume it's his sister. Man Jun rocked, and now with Asuka...man I just LOVE Juns combos, they are just beautiful.

But we will see, it will be realised in 2005.

Update!

More classical characthers are being brought back to the fifth installment of Tekken!
The likes of Anna Williams, Bruce Irvin, Baek Doo San (!!!), Wang Jinrei, Eddy Goldo, Ganryu, Mokujin (!!!) and Roger Jr. (!!!) have all been added to the squad along with 2 more characthers, Devil Jin and Jinpachi Mishima, the father of Heihachi.

The movelists and stories will be updated soon at the offical homepage of Tekken 5.

I say that's positive news with so many characthers. Tekken 4 had too few characthers, and I'd say, with these additions, the choices are huge. I know who I am happy to play...Ah Miss Anna Williams!

Anyhow, accourding to Gamespot the realise of the game will be sometime around feb, so people, get your fists ready. The Zaibatsu is back again, for the fifth time!

I bet you have heard this numerous times but 4 sucked! But due to the fact that i really liked the other tekkens im willing to go and get this one. From all ive been hearing I guess it sounds pretty good...

 

4 is better than Tag imo, it's faster and better, but the characthers are few. Guess there won't be a problem with Tekken 5...30 playable characthers.

Any idea how Asuka is related to the Kazama family?

Anyone getting the Limited Ed. bundle? T5 Limited Ed. Bundle

 

I got my hands on the european realise yesterday.

My friends and I celebrated it with a BBQ. And I must say. I love the game. It's awesome. Sure, unbalanced charatchers, but overall.

I love it. Now I wish the remaining summer days will bring only rain, so I can stay indoors and buy more stuff for my always, so hot and dangerous Nina Williams.

Tekken 5 is awesome. I rented for a week and unlocked almost every character but 1. I kick butt with King and Paul. The customization feature is really sweet too. I would so buy this game if I had the money...

 

The customization for King must have some of the coolest masks ever.

The Valde Kudo masks that shows Kings mouth, the Armour king one and the always, so ****ing awesome cartoon mask!
