I'm thinking about starting up tennis. Maybe I'm nuts. Anyways already bought a racket and balls. and today I bought another racket to use to drag people to come play with me.

it's funny.. I buy the lightest racket, and my Mom hold it up and says the thing is big and heavy. LOL. that's crazy.

anyways. I may be crazy because my knowledge of tennis comes from playing once when I was younger and watching Prince of Tennis. Tonight I hope to go check out the courts in my city I think there is a beginners thing going on.

Remember, if you're hitting it straight across the net, always keep the racket perpendicular to the ground, unless you want to add top spin or slice.

I've actually always liked rackets with a bit of weight on it. My friend's Wilson hyper hammer 6 is a perfect example. It's really light, but there's noticeable weight on the bottom/mid shaft. It makes swinging, for me, much easier.

I'm thinking of starting Tennis up again, too. Just for kicks. Although, I need a better racket than the one I'm currently using, which is a Prince....something. ...Yeah, I just got it because "Prince" of Tennis. =P

Maybe I can steal my friend's hyper hammer. Oh, and Yonex rackets seem to be excellent for serving. I get faster serves out of a Yonex racket than I do off my Prince or the hyper hammer. It must be the odd shape of the face that does that, or something.
