What did you think of the dubbing work in Fushigi Yuugi? I thought it was a mess! Wtf did they DO to chichiri!? The accents were all cheesy and everything was mis-pronounced. In general it sucked. The whole thing just grated on my ears.

As far as dubbing goes, I didn't think that the FY dub was that bad. But I guess its just a matter of opinion...

HA!!! THE DUBBING OF FY IS SMALL BEANS COMPARED TO THE DUBBING OF YU-GI-OH!

the dubbing wasn't that bad, really.
Mind pointing out 'everything' that was misprounouced missy? Keisuke and Mitsukake? I hope you know the 'u' in both names is silent. Miaka perhaps? hey I used to prounouced it Mia-ka till i saw the dub. --; thank god. Tasuki? The u is silent in that too. i didn't hear any wrong prounouciations, maybe your prounouciations of the names were wrong.

I'm somewhat of a perfectionist with dubbing. But when almost anything was said, it was obviously said with a REALLY american accent. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with an american accent, but things were just said not-quite-right if u see what i'm getting at. "Chichiri" was said WA-AAY too fast and the "i" in the first "Chi" sometimes got, um, forgotten. So it became "Ch-chiri" damn them. Miaka's voice sucked too. The way she says "Yuiiiiii!" only worked in Japanese *shudder*

    Yu-Gi-Oh! sucked too I agree.

I am fully aware of the silent u's (T_T)
