Well, my answer will be pretty similar to that other top 5 thread, but that doesn't matter. Okay...
Pantera, my favourite song being I Can't Hide
Overkill, listening to them a lot recently, my favourite song probably being I Am Fear
Megadeth, my fave song being Tornado Of Souls
Black Sabbath, my favourite song being Iron Man(probably)
Final Fantasy VII music, by Nobou Uematsu, my favourite one being One Winged Angel
Led Zeppelin, fave being The Battle For Evermore
Fight, Judas Priest & Halford(all have Rob H. as lead singer) fave is Kill It
    Queen, fave is Bohemian Rhapsody
Slayer, my fave being either Angel Of Death or South Of Heaven
Hmm, they're all the bands, now for individual songs...
Tenacious D - Tribute, I am in debt to 'Gisey Bunnzor for this 'un
Otherworld from Final Fantasy X and Liberi Fatali from Final Fantasy VIII, both intro musics
Megumi Hayashibara - Successful Mission, from our beloved SMJ
    H.T, the Trigun opening
    Subtlerage - Prey
The Pillows - Ride On Shooting Star
    Suicidal Tendancies - Instatutionalised
Steve Vai - For The Love Of God(no religious meaning though, it's just a 7 min guitar solo)
Sakura Saku, the Love Hina Opening
    Death - Pull The Plug
And of course, Ultra Relax by Sinohara Tomoe.
Wow, that's a long list, but you asked for it. Didn't ya?
All are very very very good songs. All of them, one and all. Every single one. Yup, allllll of them. Just download them and see if you don't believe me. Or evn if you do...

    anthrax
    blind guardian
    aya matsuura
the tragically hip (only heard a few songs, but they're good)
    Everclear

    arrested development
    beastie boys
    incubus
    leonard cohen

they are not ordered or anything, some are metal, some are rock (soft or ohard) and some are just beautiful songs with a bit of quitar in the background :). and of course, a bit of rap/techno in there too

Eh, well not every band necessarily has a hit with their first CD. ^^ Prolly Crawling In The Dark and Running Away were more of hits than any tracks from their first CD, so they didn't really get popular until now. Think that's how it worked with A New Found Glory and stuff, too. Lots of bands never really do that good with their first CD... 'cept them one-hit wonders. :p But knowing me, I'm prolly wrong, so just ignore me.
