    Who do you guys think would make the best couple on NGE? I think it would have to be Shinji and Asuka. Or maybe Asuka's pigtail friend and Toji. But definately Shinji and Asuka, they're so different.

    Aber sie sind sehr suss zusammen, nicht?

    Hahahahaha. That alone made all the shizzz Gendo put them through to get to Instrumentality worth it. Well, to see Rei acting like a normal girl too...

    Anyway, I also support Kaji and Misato. Because they go at it like Rabbits.

    Wouldn't a direct meeting with Kaworu and Rei set of Third Impact? ...NOT LIKE *THAT* YOU FECKS! *sigh* hito no sukebe....

    Yes, i agree. Also, hearing her say "Oh, you're riding his baloney pony!" was absolutely nuts.

    I concur that the Yui/Gendo bit was extremely funny.

    Just wondering, but did Gendo take his wife's name when they got married? (His name was Rokobungi in ep. 21)

    Almost all the relationships are twisted... Although Touji and Hikaru were cute... in that hyjinx-y way.

    I love seeing Shinji and Rei together, though. Not in any sort of sexual way... that'd be a travesty. I just loved the way they interacted with each other, it felt as though really, they understood each other best. Gotta admire those sort of connecitons. :]

    I dont' know, the Yui/Gendo relationship wasn't really twisted, at first. They were just two scientists dong research, sure there were ulterior motives, but the Yui/Gendo itself was normal. Gendo taking Yui's name can just mean that Ikari is higher in rank than..Robo...something.

    And a Rei/Shinji? My dear, too much fan fiction. Hehehe. Actually, yeah, they do interact well. Like a mother and son. As Shinji pointed out to Rei, "You remind me of my mother when you do that." ....Or something along those lines.

    Asuka x Shinji couple is the best. I mean, they're so opposite, yet so alike at the same time. Then there are the other coules:

    -Touji x Hikari
    -Kaji x Misato
    -Rei x Kaworu
    -Gendo x Yui (duh!)
    -Ritsuko x Maya

    I mean, I'm even writing fanfics with the Asuka x Shinji pairing.
