Nobuo Uematsu(Squaresoft I should say, but they were arranged by Uematsu) released a compilation of heavy metal versions of final fantasy battle music a while back called "The Black Mages"

The track listings of the one cd compilation are as follows:
    Battle Scene (Final Fantasy)
Clash on the Big Bridge (Final Fantasy V)
Force Your Way (Final Fantasy VIII)
Battle, Scene II (Final Fantasy II)
The Decisive Battle (Final Fantasy VI)
    Battle Theme (Final Fantasy VI)
    J-E-N-O-V-A (Final Fantasy VII)
Those Who Fight Further (Final Fantasy VII)
    Dancing Mad (Final Fantasy VI)
Fight With Seymour (Final Fantasy X)

I've only heard Those Who Fight Further(Still More Fighting from FF7) and Clash At The Bridge(which I think is the Atma fight?) so far, but they sounds great!!!

yes its a great game however you look at it although the only problem is that it takes a bit longer to load, but you get use to it as with everything....you should stick with the rom....its a good game i think you'll like it...but if you can try to pick up anthology its well worth the money...i think anyway. and if you need help go to my website i have a guide for FF5. Good luck.

Yeah, this thread has gone kind of off topic. If you have any other questions about FFV, find another thread for it, or start a new one if you wouldn't mind(M2A does not support illegal warezing and stuff). Back to teh metal.
I listened to both of those songs, they're pretty good. The guitar was good, but I felt the synth/midi was still a bit overbearing. I'll get the rest, postpone my judgement til then.

Actualy Tom, if you got off your lazy *** and LOOKED, you would find that Forbidden Planet often stock copies of both Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion.
This CD however shall be harder to find. I think you shall have to resort to the internet. By ordering it of course, not downloading illegal mp3s. Perish the thought.
