You have no idea
how much it meant to me
You have no idea how happy you made me

I never thought a few trips in the hall
could turn into something so great
I never thoughta few traded words
could make me blush like they did

Just a few words made me red
just a few numbers
is what I wrote on your hand

It was even cute
when your friend joked around
"Hey Bud, that's your lady!" He said
It was even funny
because I liked the way it sounded

It may not work out
we might just be friends
But in the end
I'll still remember
