Recreation The correct word is SOLD!

    No, no one is getting sold, but it's kind of there.

    Out of curiosity, when you join somewhere, say, a Forum, what is it about that Forum that would make you just say "I'm sold" when coming to the Forum? Attention grabbers if you please.

    The thing that got my attention was the word "Japan". I'm obsessed with Japan (don't ask why, I just do) and I wanted to check it out. Although, when I found it, I was on google and I had no idea how I was able to get to it with any words besides "BJP". After that, I go there and there, I get myself in a RPG and now I'm like this ^_^

    My cousin pointed me to a forum about anime and had a special section for Rurouni Kenshin, which what I was so obsessed with at the time.. (still do! xD)

    I don't like joining multi forums though, but there was an arabic one that had a section for anime as well.. I don't visit it there as frequent, they watch subbed-in-arabic anime.. so it is kinda pointless to talk to them about new anime :/

    But it was a nice community nonetheless..

    The people of the community is what got my attention of this forum. THier are so many different individuals yet thier is yet something connecting us all...OMFG ANIME XD. Seroius I was just googleing and i found this site to my likeing.

    I was googling Rurouni Kenshin about 3 years ago nd came by BJP... (OR Manga To Anime when I got here) and got hooked all thx to Hitokiri Gensai!

    People. I've joined over 30 forums since June 2004, and I've only stayed on 4 of them. Excluding my own, the biggest reason I stayed on any of them was the people there, who made it interesting to stick around. I don't care about special features, I don't care about bonuses or downloads or whatever, I care about the people I meet on a forum. If they're rude or uninteresting, or whatever, then I have no interest in sticking around.

    I joined because of Inuyasha forum. I am still here because I like talking about anime. I have a few friends that like anime but not enough.

    Amen brother. Couldn't have said it better myself.

    Just the fact that I got a warm and friendly greeting when i first joined was enough to keep me around to make friends. =)

    Forums and people. That's a preety solid fact.

    Anyone else with something that may be different.

    Maybe perteining with the fact that we have VBulletin or something?
